When Davina awoke, she found herself in a room. She turned around and noticed someone in the corner. She was aware that she was in the gods' empire. She looked around the room for an exit.
She heard a noise in the corner. She looked closer and noticed that it was Eros, who was reading a book. He looked up at her and put the book down as got up.
"What am I doing here?" Davina asked as she approached him slowly. "I require your assistance once more." He told her as he moved the bed and took a seat." What do you mean?" She asked, moving closer to the wall." I tried using your father's blood to locate the dagger, but it didn't work." He told her, and she gave him a look.
He appeared to have not slept in days, if not weeks. Eros rubbed his messy hair and widened his eyes even more. The dark circles around them were visible to Davina. She felt a little sorry for him.
"And you didn't find it?" He nodded as she asked, looking at him." No, I did not. So I need your assistance in locating it." He said this as he stood in front of her." I also require your blood." He told her, she looked at him before making a run for it, to the door. She attempted to open it, but it refused to open. She took a step back, only to run into Eros.
She tried to move from him, but he was still holding her. She used her magic to push him off and backed away to a window.
"Please Davina, I won't hurt you. I just need to find the dagger." He told her as she turned to look at him." Why do you need the dagger so much?" She asked, looking at him." To protect my people from my enemies." He told her as she looked down.
"Please Davina." He said, looking at her." How do I know that you won't try to use it on my family once you're done with the demons?" She asked and he looked at her." I promise, no harm will come to them." He told her, she looked at him for a short time before sighing.
"Fine." Davina said and he smiled." Thank you." He told her before getting another god to drain her blood. Davina sat in a chair as they took some of her blood.
She knew if she really do this, she would be betraying her family. But it's better for them to hate her while being alive, then for them loving her while being dead.
Once they were done, Eros cleaned the blood up before putting it with Axel's blood. Davina watched as they were talking in a language that she didn't know. Eros's eyes widened when he saw the blood moving to a location. He looked at Davina, who was watching the blood.
"It moved for you." He said and she looked at him." What are you talking about?" She asked, staring at him." Your blood moved to a location," He told her." I guess since Axel was alive for thousand of years, his blood didn't work. Your blood is fresh." He said as he walked up to her." What are you doing?" She asked standing up and he looked at her.
