AXEL' S POV:
It's been 4 months since Narvi's defeat. 4 months of quiet. We haven't seen any demons since they were banned from the city. The family has been doing their own thing for the past few months.
Rebekah was still away from home, nursing a broken heart. But she has kept me up to date on everything she has been up to. Let's just say she's having fun.
Davina, on the other hand, has been discovering more about herself. She just started taking classes, god classes, yesterday. Now that the demons have left town, the gods can walk around freely and hold classes without fear of being disturbed or having their secrets revealed.
Next we have Caroline, my beautiful girlfriend. Our relationship has grown and I loved it. She was still her bubbly self but she also matured better than the one that was in Mystic Falls.
And now as for me, well I'm just doing my own thing. I have been making sure there was no disturbance in the city. And well, Eros has been acting strange around me and my family but I didn't really think anything of it.
I didn't notice my phone ringing because I was too preoccupied with my thoughts. I walked over to my phone, which was on the table, and observed the contact.
Klaus
What on earth was he calling me for? I thought to myself as I picked up the phone and heard noises in the background.
"Axel." Klaus stated on the phone. "How have you been, brother? How is it in New Orleans?" I asked him. He had barely told me what he had gone through in New Orleans, only that he was having a baby and that there were people after it.
"Everything has gone wrong, and I need your help." He said over the phone, sounding desperate. "What's the matter?" I asked him if he needed my help. I vowed to be there for him. "I did something that might have provoked a war here." I frowned as he said it over the phone.
"Are you asking for my help in a fight?" I asked, puzzled, since when does the mighty hybrid need help. "No, there's something else I need you to do. My daughter was born just a few hours ago." My eyes widened as he said this.
"I'm so happy for you." I said with a smile. It appears that I am not the only one in the family who has a child now. "Thank you, and if you want, you can meet her, which is why I called. People in New Orleans want her dead, and right now, no one knows she's alive, which works in our favor. I need you to keep her safe until I can make New Orleans safe for her." Klaus stated, and I frowned.
