THREE WEEKS LATER
Caroline sat in the living room, eating her some cereals. She sat and watched the news that was happening in Mystic Falls. She may not live there anymore, but she would like to know what was going on over there.
Axel came into the room with Rebekah. They looked at what she was watching before looking at her. Caroline felt their eyes on her and turned to look at them. They gave her a questionable look.
"What?" She asked, looking at her as she finished her cereal." Really, watching Mystic Falls after leaving it." Rebekah said and Caroline rolled her eyes." I just want to know what is happening over there. The gang may hate me but I still have Bonnie over there. I won't be heartless. I won't be like them. I grew up there like it or not. It's a part of me." She told them.
"What are you guys doing?" She asked." We are going to clean up outside and make sure no one finds us out here." Axel told her and she nodded." Can you go to the store and get some more food? We are running out and Davina is mostly the only one who eats here." Rebekah said and Caroline nodded.
"Sure, I can do that. Besides, I need to get some more snacks." Caroline said getting up from the couch." Where is Davina?" Caroline asked." She is in her room doing her own thing. So she is safe to be in the house alone for a bit" Axel told her and she nodded." And Klaus is doing his own thing around town. He can handle himself." Rebekah told her.
"So, I'll see you guys later?" She asked and they nodded." Great." Caroline said before leaving the room." Let's get this over with." Rebekah said as the two went outside.
WITH CAROLINE
Caroline walked in the store and started going down the list of things she needed. She got the ice cream she loved and got Davina's favorite cookies. As she was walking, she bumped into someone.
"Oh, I'm so sorry." She said and saw a boy in front of her." It's okay, I wasn't looking where I was going." He told her and she smiled." You weren't looking, I thought I wasn't looking." She said and he chuckled." I'm Ryder." He said and she smiled.
"I'm Caroline." She said and he looked at her cart." Woah, that's a lot of food." He said and she chuckled." I have a big family." She told him and he nodded." So, you seem new here." He said and she smiled before nodding.
"Yeah, I moved to town in May." She said and he nodded." What about you?' He looks at her." I've been living here my whole life. It's kind of boring, being stuck in one place your whole life." He said and she nodded.
"Tell me about it, I used to live in Mystic Falls my whole life. I came here for a friend and their family." She said and he nodded." And how old are you?" He asked and she looked at him." If you don't mind." He said and she nodded." I'm 18." She half lied.
