It's been a whole month, since Caroline was kicked out of the house by her mother. Her and Elena were no longer friends. The others barely talk to her due to the fact that Elena turn her humanity off. Rebekah and Caroline didn't really talk at all in the house.
"Elijah, being human means a fresh start. I can grow old and have a family, and feel my days with meaning, knowing that each one matters." Rebekah told him. Klaus chuckled. Elijah, Rebekah, klaus and Axel were all at Klaus's house. They were talking about the cure that was now in the possession of Elijah.
"Well, that was poetic" klaus said laughing." well, if you can provide us with a more compelling reason for wanting the cure, klaus, please." Elijah said and looks at him.
"Silas can appear as anyone. He got inside my thoughts, convinced me, I was dying. He will torment me until I give him the cure." Klaus told them.
"In doing so he'll break down the wall to the other side." Rebekah reminded him." So it doesn't trap him there when he dies. He wants to reunite with his lost soulmate. You of all lovesick fools should applaud his devotion." Klaus said, saying it like it's a joke.
"He'll open the floodgates for every supernatural being that has ever died." Rebekah said." Including our dear brother Finn. Will have our family back." Klaus told them.
"Like you ever cared for him, you left him in a box for 900 years." Axel told him." Elijah, please." He said and they looked at him.
"Your personal discomfort might be sufficient reason for putting the entire world in Jeopardy, klaus." he said, and Rebekah smiled." I think our sister deserves a shot at happiness." he told him.
"Tell me you're joking. Tell me you're not fating me to an eternity of torture." Klaus said." I made my decision." Elijah said and klaus got up and into Rebekah's ear.
"When you're sick and dying and you beg for my blood, I will laugh in your face and compel you to forget me." he said before walking away.
"Where is the cure?" Rebekah asked him." Rebekah. It's no secret that you are impulsive, emotional, and at time, morally questionable. prove to me that this isn't just another one of your whims. That you know precisely what you are giving up here." He told her.
"Fine, anything." She said." I want you to live a day as a human. This day. No vampire privilege. no strength, no compulsion, no nothing. You succeed, you still believe this is what you want, the cure is yours." he told her the terms, and she nodded.
