NO ONE POV:

All you could hear was crying, just crying, throughout the entire house. Axel had went to New Orleans three months ago, and started caring for Hope Mikaelson. Axel was attempting to make her baby bottle so he could feed her.

Axel had no idea how difficult it was to care for a baby until he had to do so. Sure, he was a father, but he never truly raised Davina as a child. He was in the kitchen, fixing her bottle, with Hope on his hip. While speaking with his sister, Rebekah on the phone.

"You're just struggling over there, brother." Axel could tell she was laughing as she watched him struggle through the phone. "Well, it's nice to know you're enjoying my misery." Axel said as he fixed the milk before feeding Hope.

"When do you plan to return home and meet your niece in person?" Axel questioned, and she paused before looking at him. "Come on, it's been months, sister." She laughed as he told her.

"Yes, I know, and I know you've all missed me. But it's just nice to get away from the family; it's been difficult being stuck with all of you for centuries. The very least you can do is give me a few years of peace." Axel rolled his eyes as Rebekah spoke.

"Of course you'd try to use that as an excuse." He said, and she gave him a look. "Enough about me; how is everyone else?" She asked, she had missed everyone and wanted to know how they were doing.

"Everything is fine. Davina is in classes, and Caroline is just hanging out here." Hope had just finished her bottle and was now sleeping in Axel's arms.

"So far, no one has threatened our family?" He shook his head no when she asked. He was relieved not to have to face another threat, especially since he had been tasked with keeping hope safe. Her father was already dealing with enemies; the last thing he needed was more enemies.

"That's great to hear." Hope awoke, a little tearful, as Axel tried to comfort her. "It's fine, my little star." Hope cried as she looked at Axel. "Little star?" Rebekah wondered out loud, raising an eyebrow.

"It is a little nickname I gave her. Let's just say she liked the name just as much as she likes the stars." He said this as Hope began to play with his hair. " So she likes stars, which is why you gave her that name?" He nodded when she asked.

"Yes, I've already loved her after three months of caring for her. And I hope to keep watching her grow even if her parents ask for her back." She frowned as he spoke.

"Klaus will never break your bond and keep you away from her, brother. You're his brother, and he asked for your help because he knew you'd get the job done. He entrusts you with his life." Rebekah said, and tears streamed down his cheeks.

"And if he does, I'm going to beat his ass." He chuckled as she threatened. "I suppose you're right." Axel spoke up, and she looked at him. " As much as I'd like to continue talking, I have somewhere I need to be. And you have a little girl to take care of." She said, and he nodded. She smiled at him again before hanging up.
