For the past few weeks, a lot of stuff has happened in the house. Elijah being knocked out with a spell by Finn, who wanted to talk to the brothers. Axel was glad his presence wasn't known in New Orleans and wanted to keep it that way until Hope was safe.
Axel was outside fixing his car when he saw Cami coming out of the house with Hope. He raised an eyebrow before moving away from the car and standing up to look at them. For the past 2 to 3 weeks he got to know Camille and let's just say they became good friends.
Caroline was still in Mystic Falls with her family and ex friend drama, so he let her deal with it while he fixed his family's problems.
"Where are you taking Hope?" He asked her and she looked at him." We are going out of the house for a few hours while Elijah fixes his mind." She said and Axel was confused at that but went along with it.
"All right whatever you say, but I'm coming with you." He said and she smiled before nodding. She allowed him to get changed into different clothes before heading off into town with him.
FEW HOURS LATER
Camille laughed in the passenger seat as Axel told her the story about what happened in Mystic Falls when his family was living there.
"Wait so, you murdered their friend, Matt?" She asked and Axel nodded." Who knows, he would have still been alive if they hadn't tried to kill me for no reason." Axel said and she nodded at that.
"I'm sorry I know I shouldn't be laughing at someone's death." Camille told him and he smirked." It's alright my brother is rubbing off on you." He said smirking and she rolled her eyes playfully." Not funny." She said and he smiled. Axel drove back home as they went into town to pass the time.
Camille was looking at her phone, texting someone as Axel drove close to the house. But before he could get any closer to the car was forced to stop. Camille and Axel looked at each other before Axel went outside to see what's wrong.
Camille's eyes widened as the house in front of them exploded. Axel got back in the car, only for the car to crank back up. Both look confused before looking at the baby behind them.
"And this is why I prefer to live alone. We need to go." Axel said before driving away. Axel just kept driving around until it became nightfall. Axel stopped the car at the gas station.
Axel looked at his phone and texted Klaus. Camille held Hope as she waited for Axel to finish. Camille let out a scream as Axel looked at her to see her looking ahead. He turned and saw Elijah in burnt clothes. Elijah looked at them before getting in the car.
"We need to head back to New Orleans. Finn found us." He said and Camille's eyes widened." New Orleans, here we come." Axel said before driving off to New Orleans.
