FLASHBACK IN 1996

"Are you sure about this, Florence?" Leigh Anne questioned Florence as she was about to allow their coven to unlawful act.  Some witches in the coven had discovered the truth about Davina's birth father and wanted to take action.

They all agreed to cleanse her by causing harm to her God side. That if she were to use it, it would only cause her harm. Davina was held up in the air in a circle by one of the elders.

"Are you really letting them do this to your daughter?" Leigh Anne questioned the mother as Davina began to cry. "This is the only way to get her away from him." Florence told her as Leigh Anne simply stared at her.

"If you didn't want this to happen, you should never have gotten involved with him. You were aware of the cost and the price. People will kill you if they find out you had his child." Leigh Anne informed Florence, but she remained motionless.

"Then please allow me to do what I need to do so that they don't find out." Florence exclaimed, and Leigh Anne looked at her in astonishment. " All right, do whatever you want. I'm not going to stand here and watch you hurt your own child." She said this as she walked away.

Florence simply stood there watching her walk away before returning her attention to the others. She approached her daughter, who was lying on the table's hard surface, staring at her. Florence sighs as she examines her daughter's face.

She had to admit that she and Axel do have adorable children. Davina wasn't as pale as she was, and her hair was a mix of the two, but she was glad she took her eye color.

"Are you ready, Florence?" One of the witches spoke to her, and she nodded. "Let's just get this out of the way before I have conflicting feelings about wanting to be a mother." Florence stated, and they both nodded before beginning work.

Davina looked at her as Florence forced her to look away. Davina began to cry as she watched her mother leave her. Florence wiped her tears away and shut the door.

DAVINA'S POV

"Dad, have you seen Caroline anywhere?" I asked, exiting the room and entering the kitchen to see my father once more feeding Hope. "No, I haven't seen her since yesterday." I frowned as Axel said.

Where in the world was that vampire? She wasn't in her room, and everything was so tidy that it seemed she wasn't even there. If she was going somewhere, she would have told one of us.

"Don't you think it's strange that she just leaves and doesn't tell us where she goes?" I asked him and he looked at me." Maybe she just wants some alone time, everyone wants that, Davina." He told me and I rolled my eyes at him. Sometimes he really thinks he's funny.

"I'm serious; I'm worried about her." I said, and he stopped what he was doing and sat Hope in her chair. "Did you look in all the places where she might be?" I nodded when he asked. Of course, I'd start with those locations.
