Caroline slowly came into Tyler's living room to see him sitting on a couch while Hayley was sleeping beside him.
"Tyler?" She said softly before walking in front of him. He turns to her before drinking a bottle of bourbon." It's just us. Paying our respects to Chris." He said, before looking down.
"Tyler, we didn't have a choice." she told him." I told him we had his back. I told him if he help us, he'd be free." He told her.
"But we needed to help our friend." she said to him." Yeah, we helped by handing over another friend." He said." Chris wasn't-" Tyler interrupted her." Chris was a friend, Caroline. He's like me. He's a part of my pack. All he wanted to do was to be unsired to that disgusting piece of." Tyler said before stopping himself.
"How did you even get klaus to agree to give up one of his hybrid?" Tyler asked, looking at her." that I would provide information for him about everything." She said to him and Tyler looked at her before nodding, he slowly stood up.
"I just thought that it might help keep up the ruse between you and Hayley." She told him, he looked at her as he was pouring another cup of bourbon before slamming it to the wall." What the hell is going on?" Hayley asked, coming out of her sleep.
"Nothing. Nothing at all. Just celebrating the life of a fallen hybrid friend." he said, looking at Caroline, who frowned at him.

Axel walked into the Mystic Grill, smiling. This was the one place he missed the most. There wonderful drinks, and the great food they had.
He had been away from town for two weeks, he figured, why not come back and see how everything has been going. He slowly walked up to the bar table and ordered himself something.
He heard crying from behind the tables and went over to see that it was Caroline. She was sitting all the way at the back of mystic grill, crying her eyes out.
"Miss. Forbes." He said, and Caroline stopped and turn to him." Axel, what are you doing here? I thought you were gone?" She asked, looking at him.
"I came back, can't leave away from my siblings for too long." he said, trying to light up the mood and she look down." What's wrong?" He asked, sitting down in front of her.
"It's nothing, just some boyfriend problems, or maybe not." She told him, he looked confused at her." What do you mean by that?" He asked but she didn't say anything. He slowly grabbed her hand that was on the table, and she looked at him.
