THE DAY BEFORE
Hayley came out of a store, checking her. She looked around, checking her surroundings as she was walking towards her truck.
She turned around to see who was there after a can was thrown over, but she didn't see anyone. She turned around when she heard more noises and saw someone standing there.
The man sped up to her, grabbed her by the neck, and he pinned her to a truck before she could react. She begin to choke as the man threw Hayley to the ground.
He was about to kill her when Klaus suddenly appeared in front of him and grabbed him by the shoulder.
"Have a care, mate. That's no way to treat a lady." Klaus said before biting the vampire on his neck. Hayley backed up as klaus threw the man down to the ground,
Klaus gasped out as he looked at Hayley. Hayley looked at him, getting up.
"You came." She said as she stood up." Well, you did say it was urgent." He said, helping her up. Hayley looked at the vampire as they speeded away.
"Oh don't worry about him, love. He'll never make it through tomorrow night." He insured her." What if there are more?" She asked him.
"You were foolish enough to make a deal with Katerina Petrova. She use you to find the cure. Now you're nothing but a loose end. You'll be lucky if she lets you live." He told her and she walked behind him, bumping shoulders.
"You said you would protect me." She told him." And I will. Just as soon as you tell me everything you know about Katerina." He said smiling and she looks at him.

IN THE MORNING
"Oh Davina, are you awake?" Caroline asked and Davina woke up out of your sleep." What is it?" Davina asked as Caroline came in with breakfast.
"Here is your breakfast for today." Caroline said and Davina look at it." Thank you, it looks good." She said and Caroline smiled.
"What is this about. You've been chipper for the last two weeks." Davina said and Caroline curled her hair." Don't tell me, did my father finally bed you again." Davina said and Caroline playfully pushed her.
"Why are you talking like that? We are in the 21st-century." Caroline told her and Davina smiled." Don't blame me. I'm literally related to people who were born in the Viking years. And besides, it kind of rubbed off on me." Davina admit it to her.
"Well, please talk normal. I do not want to be the only person here who speaks in the right century." Caroline said and Davina smiled." So, are you two planning to get married in the future? If so, it's gonna be kind of awkward." Davina said to her.
