Caroline went up to a table and got empty glasses from the table. She spotted one of the waiters before walking up to him.
"Hey, why am I bussing your tables? I said no empty glasses." She said and walks to the music people.
"Will you guys pick up the tempo? This is a pageant, not a funeral." she said and walks away to see Axel.
"And how am I doing?" He asked." You're...perfect, just so beyond annoying. I can't even look at you." She said but Axel just smiled at her, and she looked at him.
"They didn't waste any time did they." He said looking at Hayley and Tyler, Caroline turns to look at them. Axel looked at her, while she looked at the two.
"Let's just get today over with." She said before walking away, with him following. She walked up to the stage before speaking into the mic.
"Hi, everyone, and Caroline Forbes. As the reigning Miss Mystic Falls..... it is my honor to introduce this year's Miss mystic court." she said before clapping, everyone follow along, clapping.
"We begin the procession with Valerie Fell, accompanied by Dylan Clark. Next we have Amber Wolverton, accompanied by Hector Lindsey." She said, everyone clapped as she continued on. Once she was done, Axel walk next to her.
"You have an act for speaking. I'm seeing politics in your future." He said and she chuckled slightly." I highly doubt it. Politics makes me wanna barf sometimes. They are so stupid.." she told him.
"So, when you left mystic falls, where did you go?" She asked, he looks at all the people before speaking." Oh, I've been here and there. Never really settled in, just traveled." He said before taking something out of his pocket, and she saw a black box.
"I was in Paris, and I picked up something along the way for you." He said, she looked at it and saw that it was a diamond necklace.

"Wow, how much was this?" She asked, slowly, picking it up." About a couple million dollars." he said, and she looked at him to see if he was joking, but he wasn't." I can't take this." She said, turning it down, and he looked at her.
