Caroline slowly came through her front door, putting her bag on the counter. She sighs out, happy to get through her day.
"Surprise!" Matt, Elena and Bonnie appeared out of nowhere surprising Caroline as she jumped and stared at them." Happy birthday." Matt said as they all smiled at her.
"What are you guys doing here?" She asked looking at them." Well, you blew off school and missed our work of birthday art, so change into warmer clothes." Elena said and Bonnie finished on." we're going to the falls." She told her.
" S'mores, campfire." Bonnie said." cake, like when we were little." Elena told her." except with tequila." Matt added on and they chuckled." Uh thanks, guys, really.. I'm..I'm just not really feeling my birthday this year." She told them honestly.
"I'm sorry. What?" You've already claimed your birthday as everyone's favorite day of the year." Bonnie told her." yeah, and now it's just a reminder that technically I'm dead. Look, I didn't even like 17. The only point to 17 was to get to 18. It's a filler year. I am stuck in a filler year." Caroline told them.
"You're not stuck, Caroline." Elena said." Yeah, I am. But it's okay. You know, it's all good. I will be fine. But I just need some time to wallow in it." She told them.
"Okay. Well I think I have another idea." Elena said and they all looked at her.

HOURS LATER
Axel and Rebekah walked in Klaus's remodeling home. They look to see hybrid all over the place working and spotted klaus. They look to see a body on the ground.
"What the bloody hell happened here?" Rebekah asked and he looked at him." Stefan happened." He said simply.." what did you do to make him so mad that he had to kill one of your hybrids?" Axel asked.
"He threaten me to move my hybrids out of town, or he threaten to drop our family in the ocean." Klaus told him." and what did you do about it?" Rebekah asked.
"I asked one of my hybrids Tyler to bite his dear girlfriend, Caroline." He said and their eyes widened." you seriously did that." Rebekah said and chuckles slightly.
"All because he threaten you." Axel said and klaus nodded." then I'm going to need your blood." He said and they both looked at him." and why is that?" He asked." Because I have to save her." He told him.
"Don't tell me you have a crush on her or something." Rebekah said." no I don't but I generally like her company and I cannot have that if she's dead." Axel said before looking at klaus.
"Now. Your blood klaus." Axel said and Klaus glared at him.
