THREE DAYS LATER
Axel opens the door to the basement for Davina. Davina followed him in the room and her eyes widened when she saw weapons everywhere. He showed her around to look at them.
"What is this place?" She asked, looking at all the weapons." These are my weapons that I made." He said and she looked at him." You made these?' She asked and he nodded.
"Come, I want to show you something." He said, grabbing her hand and leading her to a room. He opened the door and cut the light on. Davina's eyes widened once more when she saw a golden crossbow. He smiled before bringing her to it.
"Davina, this is our family's heirloom." He said and she stared at it." Family heirloom?" She asked and he nodded." My father told me about this weapon and how my mother wanted me to have it." He said, grabbing the crossbow and showing it to her.
"One day, when you are old enough, this will be yours until you have a child of your own." He said, giving it to her. She took the time to stare at it, she saw the details and everything." When will I be able to make a weapon of my own?" She asked, looking at it.
"When you become a god yourself, that's how it works." He told her and she nodded." I can't wait." She said and he smiled. She gave him the crossbow and he put it back on the shelf. Davina walked out of the room with him as he locked the door.
"Did you know your mom?" She asked and he looked at her." What do you mean?" He asked." It's just, you talk about your dad more than your mom." She said and he looked down." You don't have to tell me if you don't want to." She said and he shook his head.
"No, it's okay. My mom died when I was just a baby. The demons killed her, I didn't know why. My father told me they killed her." He said and she looked at him." And how did you move in with your dad? I heard from the others that he wasn't a good man." She said and he chuckled.
"Yeah, well my dad did love me. When my mother died, he took me in. He didn't care that his wife knew about him cheating. He just wanted to protect me. Growing up, his wife hated me so much. But my dad didn't care." He said and she smiled.
"Our father was a good man until my older sister died of a sickness before I was born." He said and she looked at him." I heard about that. I'm sorry, the family went through all of that." She said and he smiled." It's okay. It was a long time ago." He told her and she nodded.
"Thank you for showing me your weapon." She said and he smiled before nodding." You are my daughter, you should know what is going to be yours one day." He said and she nodded." Come on, let's go find the others." He said and she followed him out the basement.
WITH REBEKAH AND CAROLINE
The two were in the woods, learning how to fight. Well, Rebekah was teaching Caroline how to fight against supernatural beings that are stronger than her. If she was going to stay with them, she should know how to fight their enemies.
