Chapter 3: 'So, how did your date with Casey go?' Shay asked Dawson, 'Well.... I was right about Casey, he's still into someone else and I'm an idiot' Dawson said as she sighed, 'you and me are going to have a few margaritas tomorrow night' shay said with a laugh 'see! this is exactly why you're my best friend, you understand me' Dawson said as she put the jump bag back into the ambulance. 'DAWSON!' Shay said as a tow truck lost control and collided with the ambulance. *5 minutes later* 'Shay?.... Oh gosh, SHAY!' Dawson said as she groaned and pushed the gurney off her leg 'Shay, can you hear me? It's ok, it's going to be ok Shay, you're ok sweetie, hold on' Dawson looked up and heard sirens and lights flashing.
---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- ' Laceration and swelling around the head' Dawson told the ER doctors as she walked alongside the gurney carrying Shay. 'Gabriella, are you ok?' chief Boden said as he hugged Dawson 'Hey, hey she's gonna be fine, she's ok, let's go get you looked at, get you cleaned up, it's going to be fine' Dawson nodded 'yeah, ok' she said as the nurse took her into a emergency bay, the chief follower 'I juts got off the phone to Casey he's on his way here right now' Dawson looked down and nodded 'kid, I know you too well, what's going on, is it to do with Casey?' Dawson shook her head 'no chief, not at all' chief laughed 'Gabriela, I have known you for 8 years, you may not remember but me and your father were good friends, what's going on between you two?' Dawson laughed 'just a little misunderstanding' chief looked at her weird and then nodded, right at that moment Casey burst through the ER doors 'gabby!!!' He yelled 'sir, could you please calm down and take a seat over there, I'm sure whoever you're looking for is fi-' Casey stepped back 'No! You don't understand! I love her!' Dawson's eyes widened as she over heard the commotion, she stood up 'hey chief I'm gonna go see what's going on' she said standing up, chief nodded. Dawson walked out to the entry of the ER to find Casey standing against a wall running his hands though his hair 'Matt?' He looked up and stood up straight as he grabbed her and hugged her 'oh, gabby, thank god you're safe, I thought I'd lost you..... Where's Shay?' Dawson straightened up 'I'm not out of the woods yet though..... They still have to do MRIs and scans to make sure there's no internal damage and she's in emergency surgery.... But they're very optimistic' chief walked up behind her 'Gabriela, the nurse asked me to come get you so they can do a scan' Dawson nodded 'ok, let's go chief.... See ya at work Casey' Casey watched her walk away as he nodded.
