Chapter 133: Dawson and Severide walked up to the hospital the next day, they walked up to Casey's room and walked in, Casey immediately saw them 'hey, there's my family!' Dawson smiled 'hey baby, how are you?' She said as she kissed him 'yeah, I'm good, just still a little sore, they're gonna keep me in here for a little longer just to make sure everything stays where it should be' he said and then kissed her again 'I just wanna be at home with my girls again, I can't sleep at night because I'm not with you' Dawson smiled 'at least your still here, you'll be home soon, don't worry' Casey smiled and looked at Severide 'hey sev, how are you?' Severide chuckled and shook his head 'shouldn't I be the one asking you that question? Anyways, do you want me to go grab something for you to eat down at the cafeteria?' Casey smiled 'yeah, that'd be great, thanks sev' Severide nodded and walked out of the door, Dawson walked over to Casey and sat down on the bed with him 'so, Leslie might want a hug' Casey laughed 'I'd love a hug right now' Dawson smiled and put Leslie on Casey's chest 'hey baby girl, how are you?' Leslie giggled 'I good daddy, are you Kay?' Casey laughed 'yes sweetie, Daddy's okay' Leslie laid down again 'is daddy coming home?' She said to Dawson 'yes baby, daddy will come home soon' Leslie smiled and sat up, Casey smiled at her 'I think the tickle monster is coming to get you!' He said as he started tickling her 'no daddy! No tickle monster!' Casey stopped 'okay, no more tickle monster, just cuddles', Severide walked back into the room with a bag of food, Dawson looked at him and laughed 'wow sev, do some shopping?' He shook his head 'nah, just thought I'd bring you guys something to eat too, we haven't had anything to eat this morning, just Leslie had something' Dawson smiled 'thanks Kelly' Severide smiled 'no problem gabby', after they ate the nurse came in with a folder 'Mr, Casey, I'm just here to give you your pain meds, I just need to ask you a few questions' Casey nodded 'okay, when was the last time you ate?' Casey looked at the clock 'ten minutes ago' the nurse nodded 'are you still getting vertigo?' Casey nodded 'alright, your pain on the scale of 1-10?' Casey cleared his throat 'about a 4' the nurse nodded 'alright, take these with some water and I'll leave you with your family'.
