Chapter 30: *next morning* at the firehouse there was blizzard warnings and 911 was down, Herrmann walked over to Casey 'hey, lieutenant, do you mind salting the driveway?' He said, Casey stopped what he was doing 'yeah, sure', Dawson ran up to Casey 'hey, I'll help' she said picking up a bag of salt, Casey smiled and Dawson walked outside only to drop the bag of salt and come back inside carrying a box 'Brett, Mills, we need to check her for hypothermia' she said as she walked past Casey, 'wait, who?' He said turning around 'someone left their baby outside the station!' Dawson said as she ran inside. Brett and Mills checked her and gave her back to Dawson, Casey was still standing there watching Dawson with the baby....
