Michael gripped the door frame, his nails digging into the thin plastic. His breath was stuck in his throat as he heard the principal and his father arguing back and forth.

He heard it stop then, and a door slammed as his father stomped out of the office, "Let's go, Michael, all you've done this week is cause me stress, get horrible grades, and then what? Fight over a girl?!"

It wasn't a girl. It was Noah, they were making fun of him!

But he hesitated from arguing, following his father back into the car.

...

William grabbed the sugar from the top cabinet, dipping a small spoon into the sugar, just to sprinkle some over the cinnamon buns for Elizabeth and Evan since they finished their dinner.

He put the cover back over the jar of sugar and lifted it back into the cabinet, picking the plates up and giving them both to his little kids. And he left one on the counter in case Michael decided to not sulk in his room anymore.

William sighed, staring at Michael's room, just for his eyes to dart to the basement. Glitchtrap.

He always had this feeling before he went into any room, whether the rat would be there or not. Glitchtrap gave off an unsettling aura.

"Glitchtrap?" He called out as soon as he reached the end of the stairs. Suddenly, the black-haired man heard clattering. And something yellow pop out from under the animatronic.

"Yessss~?" the man's voice hissed. Ugh, William hated his voice.

"What are you doing? Messing up my work, aren't you?!"

"What, no! Can't a friend help a friend?"

"Bullshit, you never help, anyway you don't use a wrench for the inside, you fucking idiot."

William snatched the wrench from the man, glaring at him. He could tell by the look in his eye, he certainly was trying to ruin his work. "Why? Why do you just make my life harder?"

Glitchtrap then seemed a little hurt by the statement. "I'm not, I'm not! I just-"

"You never sleep, William. So, I thought, if I messed this up, you'd get tired and give up at night. And actually get some rest."

"If you used your brain, that makes me have more work to do, idiot!" William yelled at him. "I would fix it after!"

"Love-." Glitchtrap, no. We are no longer together. Your universe is messed up. "What did you just call me?"

"Nothing, nothing, at all." William rolled his eyes, his hair a beautiful dark green mixed with black from Springtrap.

As William walked up the stairs, Vincent followed.

And a happy yell from one of the younger kids was heard, and it was towards the man at the front door, coming in. His hair the exact same color as Vincent's.

William smiled and came to hug the man. "Hey, sweetheart," the man said, a smile on his face. "Hey, Vincent."

But the calling wasn't toward Glitchtrap, it was for the man in front of him. Leaving Glitchtrap to clench his own palms, and feel heartbroken.
