The angel's wings brushed softly against his husband's chest, flickering as he gently stroked them.
Vincent's fingertips brushed past the soft feathers. He smiled and held his husband close, planting kisses along his bare back.
"How did you get yourself injured love?" He spoke, getting bandages from behind before leaning William's back forward.
He wrapped the soft white material around William's stomach and taped the two end spots together to hold it firmly.
"...You care so much about me." William buried his face into his knees drowsily.
Vincent sighed softly, "Of course, what's your point?" The man replied, bringing William into his lap.
"Look at you. Do you ever help yourself for once?" William looked behind him and stared sadly into Vincent's eyes. Turning around completely on his husband's lap before stroking his one good wing.
The smaller angel's other hand pressed softly against Vincent's torn wing. The feathers were a dark gray with a dull yellow surrounding them.
"My dear.. this is all in the past. I'm fine. You're the one who's always worried about everyone else, calm down. Let me handle you." Vincent spoke softly, running his fingers through William's short soft hair. The smaller angel leaned into his husband's arms. Accepting the gentle cuddle.
The two angels stayed like this for a while, breathing softly against each other's skin.
Vincent looked down before gently placing his thumb on William's gentle pink lower lip. The taller angel loved how innocent and small his husband always looked, with a timid body language quite most of the time.
The smaller angel's bright but shy yellow eyes drifted up toward the other angel's face. Blinking excitedly. Vincent bit his downward lip before leaning to kiss William gently, savoring the adorable face of the smaller man under him.
William's gaze jolted quickly toward Vincent's lips but he wrapped his arms around the male's neck, enjoying the little smooch.
The corners of Vincent's lips turned upward, a chuckle coming from him. His hand gently settled on William's shoulder, stroking his arm up and down.
"Do you need anything for now my dear..? Food, blankets, medicine to ease your pain?" The taller angel whispered into William's ear, his thumb stroking William's earlobe.
The angel thought for a moment, "I'm kind of hungry.. sweets maybe?" He brightened up, resting in Vincent's arms.
Vincent chuckled again, "I'll go see what I can make for you. Stay here, darling."
He gently took William off his lap and placed him on the cushion of the sofa beside them. Kissing his forehead before heading across the vast house into the kitchen.
The angel rummaged through the white cabinets, his feet sliding across the floor as he moved down and looked in each one.
Vincent perked up, remembering one of his husband's favorite treats. He bent down and pulled the cabinet handle. Grabbing a large skillet before turning the sink for warm water.
...
William laid his neck against the back of the couch, smiling and relaxed. His eyes glanced briefly toward the sound of boiling water. He blinked in curiosity, letting himself follow the trail of the sound.
He straightened up, padding into the kitchen.
"Vince? What are you making?" William questioned, clinging to his arm.
Vincent rubbed William's rosy cheek fondly, "Cooking you a treat dear." He simpered, putting the pan in the oven for the final direction.
The angel's jeweled-like eyes glinted thrill fully, "Tiramisu?" William peeped, smiling a childish smile.
The blonde haired angel nodded, "While we're waiting, do you want to watch some television?" He questioned, ruffling up William's silky and curly soft locks of hair.
Afton nodded, following the man to the lousy couch. Pointing at a horror movie on the bright television screen as he sat on Vincent's lap.
William made himself comfortable, his smile faltering as Vincent placed his lips an inch away from William's neck. William side eyed him, poking his lips with his pointer finger, "No."
Vincent's lips turned upwards and he leaned forward, abruptly licking the tip of William's finger.
The small angel punted Vincent's leg, dramatically gasping. Quickly jumping off Vincent's lap.
Vincent's unbridled laughter made him pout to himself. "Come on, stop being such a drama queen." Vincent sighed, patting his lap again.
William scrunched his nose at the angel and squinted his eyes, wiping his finger on Vincent's face.
Vincent became memorized for a moment, snorting. "Alright then." He added after a few seconds. William huffed his cheeks out angrily before sitting on his husband's lap again face front, pursing his lips.
Vincent smiled teasingly and laid William's head down on his chest, clicking the remote.
The tall angel's feathered wing flickered when he heard the oven buzz. He heaved himself up and held William by the hand, leading him with him. Afton breathed in the sweet fragrance of fresh batter, pulling out a mitten for Vincent from a white drawer.
However, Vincent shooed it away.
"We have to let them sit in the oven before pulling them out." Vincent's eyebrows intertwined briefly, reading a colorful piece of paper listing small text of instructions.
William just rolled his eyes at Vincent's words. "They're fine, come on," He grabbed the papers from Vincent's hands and threw them behind him. A look of frustration crossed Vincent's face as he mumbled under his breath, "Instructions matter."
William giggled and kissed Vincent softly. The older angel felt his face heat up into a blush, he sighed and placed his thumb on William's thin pink lips. Admiring his gorgeous pale and rosy soft baby face.
He grumbled to himself before finally taking the mitten and pulling the pan out. Vincent carefully reached over toward the counter to get the spatula and scooped the desserts up. Gently placing it on a plate and setted it down on the table behind him.
William looked at it with eagerness, waiting for Vincent so they could start eating.
The blonde man patted his husband on the head and sat down right next to him, kissing William softly. He reached over for a fork, taking some of the tiramisu, and grabbed William's chin gently.
Vincent chuckled lovingly, before placing the tiramisu in his husband's mouth. Bringing their lips together fondly.
