The lone man gaped lifelessly at the blank void in front of him, his mind was filled with the endless background buzz of the fluorescent lights that were above him, and the somber madness of the damp black walls that surrounded him.

Every day, he sat and waited.

The sole companion that he had was the mono-yellow rabbit that lounged in the air above him.

As William peered closer, he could see the rabbit's resene eyes shut closed. His breathing was leisurely, and his arms were stretched out behind his head.

William never understood how this glitch stayed so sane and tranquil. They had been stuck in this room for years now, minute after minute they were circumambient by the constant vacancy.

But William couldn't lie, he relished the rabbit, and he found solace in his company.

They talked quite a lot, keeping William from losing his entire mind. And in the dismal days, they would hug. Maybe even cuddle.

William could feel a flush on his face when they did so, he couldn't control it, his body language became nervous, he twitched slightly in the man's arms, and his breathing would hitch if the glitch's face got too close to his.

But he really did adore it, he adored him.

He always thought about what his life would be like if it wasn't for the man in that costume, sure, he wouldn't be in this goddamn safe room if it wasn't for the damn nitwit. But his life would be gloomy and repetitive without him as well.

His gaze shifted from the void to his knees now, his hands clenched at his thighs while he tucked his head into his legs. His eyelids felt drowsy, maybe he should join the rabbit in sleep.

Yet, he didn't feel like sleeping, so he drifted his gaze to the rabbit.

The urge to climb up on his lap and rest with him was arduous, but he didn't want to wake Vincent up. Usually, he would just get cursed at for doing so or the glitch would go somewhere else and leave William there for weeks at a time.

So, if he wanted the man's company, he would just not have to do so.

He remembered one time he did it, he felt the warmth of the glitch's breathing, as well as those big hands grip onto his back, or waist. He preferred the back though, anytime Vincent would grab his waist, his face would burn up into a red mess and his lips would tremble for some reason.

He liked that feeling, but he also hated it.

His back felt cold right now though, his mind felt lonely. He yearned for when the rabbit would wake up, he missed his touch.
