Vincent muttered to himself angrily, scribbling down particular thoughts in his work book. Roughly pressing more pressure onto the pencil as he wrote.
His sullen jade green eyes felt sore, lost in a blurry faze as they scurried across the paper.
He felt sick; his stomach churned inside out and his mind throbbed.
He leaned over to grab a bottle of pills, the label was scribbled with a black sharpie. The man twisted it open and swallowed a few. Throwing it heedlessly across the hard maple wood surface.
William watched from afar, raising an eyebrow before both intertwined briefly.
"Vince, honey? What are you doing?" He asked, pacing toward his direction.
The owner of the name snapped his head around, promptly tidying up his desk and shoving his work book under. Meeting William's gaze after blocking his desk's view with his back.
"Writing." Vincent spoke, smiling at his husband nervously. William locked his gaze on the man, burning it in.
Afton stepped forward, pushing past Vincent to see what he was hiding.
Vincent rebuked, gripping William's waist and pulling him from the desk. "What is it you want? I'm busy at the moment, cupcake."
William ignored the question and didn't miss the blonde man's fraudulence, "It's three in the morning, what are you doing that's so important?" He asked, giving him an expecting look.
The taller male looked timid, bending back against the table while crossing his arms. "Working."
He scoffed, trying to escape from his husband's grip to look behind him. "Are you hiding something again?" William growled sternly, spotting a bright and small orange object on the ground.
William's brow furrowed as he realized exactly what it was, and his fists clenched. A simple harsh sigh slipped out from him, causing Vincent to look away in shame.
