The man's gaze rested onto the scattered records and paperwork across his desk, slight guilt running through his mind as they were days old now.
He wanted to make an excuse as to why he didn't do any of them on schedule, but he couldn't.
He was just lazy, simple as that. And he was really insecure about it.
No matter how many times Vincent said that he was perfect, it didn't matter, lots of people struggle with it, or that it wasn't a big deal; he felt so guilty, and ashamed.
It was just a simple matter, something that could easily be solved if he stopped being a shitty procrastinator every minute and just did it, but he couldn't. All he wanted to do was sleep and forget any of these reports even existed.
William's breath hitched and he dropped the pen, not being able to bring himself to do it anymore. Every little thing distracted him, took him away from his work. He couldn't sit still for more than five minutes without wanting to go do something else or just take a break.
How did he even become the owner of these restaurants with a personality like his, he wasn't a hard worker. He was just burnt out and tired of everything every single minute. And he didn't want to do anything.
Should he feel ashamed for this? ..Vincent didn't seem to care, Vincent loved him no matter what, and that's the thing he should be grateful for.
But he blamed himself a lot, or ridiculed himself about how he could be stressed over a small matter that seemed so embarrassing to be so serious about.
He was just lazy, nothing more.
