Vincent was scrolling through his inventory, leaning against a wall, waiting for William to go through the portal to play the game with him.
Nothing in my inventory yet.
The plain green walls and moldy carpet made him uneasy, what a perfect horror atmosphere.
Vincent peeked his head up as a figure appeared.
"Finally that took forever."
"Hey! I got lost, Vincent." William puffed. "So, what's the goal of this game?" He asked, looking around.
"Well, the game is called apartment, and our goal is to find room seven hundred and five."
William shrugged and stepped over the 'do not enter' yellow tape. An elevator was in front of them, and one hallway was on each side.
Vincent followed after, "Which one should we take?"
"I say right, every time I take the left in a horror game, it ends up being the wrong way."
He happily skipped to the right hallway, but Vincent walked forward, going up to the elevators.
The blonde man pressed all the buttons, but nothing seemed to work.
He grunted when William came running back, "That's the first time the right is the wrong way!"
Vincent hid a smirk and padded after his boyfriend, glancing over at the musty pale green walls.
"Left we go," Vincent replied, carelessly walking up the stairs.
"Floor one!" William smiled, stroking the big metal sign attached to the wall.
As they got up, one of the doors was already missing a handle.
"Weird." William shrugged.
William messed with it, but Vincent slapped his hand away from it and dragged him forward.
Both men eventually reached the second floor after passing multiple of the same kind of doors.
"So is it the same on every level?" William asked.
"I'm guessing some scary things will happen after a few floors," Vincent replied, his eyes flashing in every direction.
As they reached floor five, after a bunch of hugging and joking around, the lights flickered up ahead.
William's legs hurt from all the walking, but the flashing lights intrigued him to check it out.
"A monster!" William gasped in excitement.
There was nothing there but the dark blank empty hallway.
Vincent mockingly rolled his eyes, "You're always wrong about everything."
William looked back to glare at him and stepped into the stairwell for floor six.
The black-haired man gasped as blood stained the carpet.
Backing and bumping into Vincent's chest.
Vincent walked past William and kneeled, examining the red liquid on the floor.
"It's dry, so we're fine." He muttered.
William shook his head, grasping onto Vincent's arm as the front lights shut off.
"I hate this."
"You said you were getting bored, when something interesting happens you began to be a wuss?" Vincent chuckled.
William glared at him again, nudging him away.
The blood trail continued over to the stairwell to floor seven.
"Isn't room seven hundred-five here?" The younger male asked as they walked up the stairs.
Vincent nodded, "Look out for the door numbers."
But as they got to the long hallway, there were no door numbers on the doors.
But there was one creaked open door.
"Over there, it's open and a light is on!" William pointed.
They both hurried toward the door, slowly opening it to find a lot of candy wrappers and a cracked computer. The bed sheets were all wrinkled and thrown.
"I bet you there is a dead body!" Afton joked, grinning while searching the shelf for clues.
Both men then opened the bathroom door, and well, Afton certainly wasn't wrong.
