<Skyler's POV>

When I wake up its early in the morning.
I stand up cautiously and then quickly begin the task I started last night. Walking away from the alley my heart starts to beat faster and my walk turns into a full on sprint. I've never run so fast in my life, but now I have a reason to. I need to get to Dallas.

------------------------

After miles of sprinting and sweating I know I've reached Tulsa, for I just passed the empty lot. Slowing down to a walk, I try to think of what I will say to Dally when I see him. Hi? I love you? I'm sorry? None of them seem right. I left for three months and now I'm asking for forgiveness. I don't deserve it, but I want it, a lot. Yet, when I see the Curtis house and the people that stand in the front yard I find that words fail me.

<Dallas's POV>

I stop by at the the Curtis's house to see Soda and Steve again. They're only here for a week after all. The morning sun reaches my skin and calms my thoughts. Chris tapping my shoulder makes me come back to reality. Soda is right at her hip of course and I smirk.

"Hey what's up guys?" I ask with the smirk still plastered on my face.

"Oh ya know gaining muscle from training," Soda says laughing.

"I noticed, your looking good man," I say. Soda smiles and jokingly kisses his bicep. Chris playfully rolls her eyes then her smile fades and she stares behind me. I stop laughing and turn to where she is looking.

I find myself staring at a figure that is about sixty yards away. Even though the figure is far away I could never miss that jet black hair. My heart stops and I just stare forward, the sun burning my eyes. She starts to walk closer, then breaks into a fast jog, and soon she is sprinting towards me.

Her voice stretches the distance from herself to me as she shouts my name. "Dallas!" She yells with tears streaming down her face and sweat dripping from her forehead.

"Skyler," I whisper. I start to walk towards Skyler who is still running. We get closer and closer and the excitement eats me up. She is only a few inches away, a few seconds. I can see her smile from here. I stop running and open my arms. She jumps and lands in my open arms. I bring my lips to hers and we kiss as the force of her body hitting mine pushes me to the ground. When I pull away I can't stop staring into her eyes. Those beautiful shimmering silver eyes that trap me in a beautiful world that belongs to Skyler Elizabeth Hills.

"You left me, damn you," I whisper to her.

"Oh god Dallas I'm so sorry, you have to let me explain," Skyler rambles.

"No, I don't care, you're back now," I say honestly. We then stand up and walk back into the Curtis' yard.

<Skyler's POV>

We walk back to the Curtis house and I fly into Chris's arms. She grips my back tight and starts to weep. After I've hugged her I go to Soda and give him a hug before asking why he's here. He explains that he and Steve are back for a week before they go into true battle. After that I go instinctively back to Dally's side.

I'm assuming Chris told Dally that I'm pregnant so at least I don't have to tell him that. I know I never would've been able to tell him myself. The rest of the gang joins our little huddle and we stand in a little circle.

"Glad to have ya back," Darry says. I nod my head at him and smile then I turn to Dally.

"Dallas can we talk?" I ask quietly.

"We are talking," he answers smirking.

"No I mean talk in private about the baby and all," I say. Dally looks at me confused.
