Not Alone - DNF Fanfic (Hybrids AU)

Sam's Date... Was Crashed...

*Foolish POV*

So, me and Ponk invited the cutie that we met at our workplace to a date. But... he doesn't really know that it's a date...

We just told him a location to come hangout, But... I'm sure with mine and Ponk's devilishly handsome looks he'll fall for us in no time.

So, we called him to park nearby and are now just waiting.

"When is he gonna get here?" Ponk asked.

"I really don't know but we need to get to the shooting range in 2 hours so we have time. Maybe he got busy?" I wondered.

"Do you wanna go pick him up?" I asked Ponk.

"Sure."

So, we got in Ponk's car and we drove to his house. He gave us his address when we asked him to online so we could send him love letters, we are not creeps, shut up.

When we were halfway down the lane to his house was we heard some commotion.

"SKEPPY GET OFF HIM! LEAVE HIM BE!!!"

"NO! I WANNA KNOW WHERE HE'S GOING!!!"

"GET OFF ME YOU IDIOT, I'M ALREADY LATE!!!"

"TELL ME WHERE YOU'RE GOING THEN!"

"NO!!!!"

When we pulled around the corner into his driveway, we could see Sam being tackled by this weird-haired Inu. Sam was trying to pull him off while a Harpy with red wings was trying to pull the weird Inu off as well.

Sam being Sam I guess, bonked the other Inu on the head and then turned into a cute German shepherd with a puff of green smoke.

Then Sam growled a warning but the other Inu also tuned into a dog, a husky and then tackled Sam.

They weren't really fighting, kinda just playing?

"Skeppy you idiot, get off him or no cuddles for a month." The Harpy said and instantly the husky was at his feet whining.

With a puff of light blue smoke, the weird Inu was attached to the Harpy's legs.

Sam also turned back into human form and spotted us and blushed. Oh, this was gonna be so easy.

The Inu, still on the Harpy's legs whined.

"Sammmmmmmmm. Just tell me where you are going!!!"

"No, cause you are a blabbermouth." Sam said.

Ponk nudged at me and smirked.

"Sam!!! You're late!!!" Ponk shouted and hugged Sam, leaving him flustered.

"O-of course I am. This idiot would not let go of me." Sam said, hugging me as well.

"Wait." The husky Inu said. "AREN'T YOU TWO THE PEOPLE WHO WORK AT THE LASER TAG PLACE THAT MADE SAM MALFUNCTION?!"

"Skeppyyyyyyyyyyyy, just shut up will youuuuuuuuu?" Sam whined, annoyed.

"Well, yes. We asked him to come 'hangout' with us, and he's 45 minutes late." I said, as a matter-a-factly.

"Oh..." The Inu said.

"Well, there you go Skeppy. Can we finally go inside so I can call Phil?" The harpy said.

"Fine." The Inu said, and... "And Sam?... Good luck on you're date." He said, giggling.

"IT'S NOT A DATE YOU MORON!!! SHUT UP AND GO AWAY!!!" Sam screamed, flustered.

"Well, I mean..." Ponk said, with a sly smile on his face.

"Shuddup you two. Not now." Sam said, gritting his teeth.

"Sam! Just get back back before dinner, or the house will be burnt down by the other Muffin heads." The harpy said, and carried the 'Skeppy' guy inside.

"I'm gonna tie him up and make him eat hay for the rest of the week, I swear." Sam mumbled under his breath, thinking we can't hear him.

"Why would you feed him hay?" Ponk asked, yanking Sam from his thoughts.

"You heard that?!" Sam asked, startled.

"Well, yeah." I said, a bit confused on why he was this startled.

"Well forget it, I was joking anyway." He said, and then mumbling a 'not' under his breath again.

Me and Ponk just pretended not to hear him.

"So~ About that date...~" Ponk crooned.

"What date? You guys were joking right?" Sam asked, half-heartedly.

"Nope~" I said, picking him up as he yelled in surprise. "Now in the car."

So, I carried a protesting Sam into the car and placed him on my lap in the back seat. I could see his eyes darting everywhere analyzing every detail of the car.

"Why is one door damaged?" He asked.

"I drove the car into a light post." I said.

"Usually I'm the one driving, this is so weird." He mumbled.

"Have you never gone in a car without actually driving it?!" Ponk asked surprised.

"Well, nope. I'm the uber of the group." Sam said.

"Oh, ok." Ponk said, and start the car.

"Where are we going?" Sam asked me, straddling my lap, since it was probably more comfortable.

"You'll know soon, have patience." I said, and dipped my head into the crook of his neck.

"... what are you doing?" Sam asked me.

"I have no, idea but this is nice." I said and laid my chin on is shoulder.

He sighed as I chuckled.
