Adrian POV
It's 7:30p.m when me and mom pulled into the driveway. Me and mom got out of the car both of us trying to hurry up and get inside knowing that mama would have cooked a delicious meal I opened the door mom behind me.
" Honey were home!" Mom yelled a bit as we walked into the kitchen to see mama sitting on a stool with a sad expression making both me and mom worried.
" What's wrong honey?" Mom asked mama as we both waited for an answer until she looked up at me.
" Jayden is hurt." She said making mom and mama now look at me.
" What happened? Is she ok?" I asked worried.
" I didn't have a seasoning for dinner that's when Jayden offered to go get it so with that being said she left to go get it then about 20 minutes later she came back with a busted lip and soaked from the rain but she was limping so I think she has more injuries that I can't see." Mama explained as my eyes widened, someone hurt Jayden?
" May I go check her mama?" I asked dying to see her mama knowing that nodded with a smile which I returned before going to check Jayden.
To see how much damage was done to Jayden and if she was ok which I hoped she was before opening my room door.
