"May babayaran pa kong loan."

I looked at the plastic flower on a porcelain vase at the center of a small table, took a deep breath. I can feel the tiredness a whole month sail has caused me, it's so hard to deal with different passengers.

Huminga ako ng malalim, calming myself down, I let go of all the loathing and prepared myself for a new battle. I smiled and listened to the relaxing sound of dripping water.

Minutes passed and the sound disappeared. A sound that told me she has finished taking a shower. Minutes later, I heard the room's door close and an odd sound, it's from her barefoot which is wet. She didn't mind my existence in the room as if she was already used to my presence. I just observed her.

She's wearing a bathrobe while going on the bed to take her invitation na kakatanggap lang niya kanina, she then looked at the envelope. The anticipation is evident in her eyes, excitement but mostly afraid, na parang nakasalalay doon ang buhay niya sa laman ng envelope na iyon.

Ava and her overacting characteristics kicked in. Masisisi ko ba siya, sabi niya sa 18 shots daw sya and we made a bet na kung doon kami, I lose. Kapag naman sa 18 bills kami, she wins.

When she finally opened it with shaking hands and took the cards out, she smelled it and smiled before scanning to search for her name. She stopped searching and her face frowned. Like she's been stabbed.

"Seriously Ava, ang o.a. mo." I commented.

I exclaimed.

She pointed at the invitation. "First of all, bakit pagpapalitin mo ang lagayan ng envelope ng meralco at invitation." Hindi makapaniwalang tanong ko na nginisian niya.

"Because it's something new at para mas surprising." She sat and got her phone, while I did the same. I am still wearing my cruise line uniform, I can't stand up, my body is really so tired. I need some sleep.

Abri's finally an adult. I should gift her my favorite authors books. Napangiti ako sa aking naisip. That book is for 18 years old so tamang tama. I laughed evily. But I immediately regretted it. Ava misunderstood my laugh, she looked offended, hindi naman yon para sa kanya para iyon sa masama kong balak. But as expected of the o.a.

But I didn't bother explaining since magkakagulo lang lalo. Though, there's always consequences.

"Tawa tawa ka pa jan ha? Kasama ka din kaya sa 18 bills! Naito name mo oh! Pano ba yan. I win. Nasaan na ang bemte ko?" One of the reasons why I haven't checked my invitation, because I would be surprised. I smiled bluntly and gave her a 'masaya ka na' look. She just raised her brows then pouted-like she was innocent.

Wala akong seevice eh.
