“There are 50 groups and 100 participants now. The game we will play right now is Muk-jji-ppa.”
“Each of you will get either a rock, paper or scissors card at random. Please use this card in the game.”
✊🖐️✌️
“As long as the two sides agree, you can battle each other.”
👤 🃏 🃏👤
“The winner gets all the cards of the opponent holds and the loser will lose all of their cards. The person with no card will be eliminated.”
👤 🃏🃏👤
“As long as, the last pair of members end up getting 20 cards, they will win.”
“When both sides have two of the same cards and end up in a tie, it will be considered as 'No Count'.”
👤 ✌️ No Count ✌️👤
“If both the sides hold multiple cards, use the remaining cards to determine the outcome. Like, if a player has less number of cards than you but your first two trials were No Count then you win.”
👤 🃏🃏 🃏🃏🃏👤
“
This gamble game is a team competition. Competitors can exchange cards with your partners.”
“The match time is 10 minutes.”
"10 minutes?" I gaped loudly and everyone turned to look at my shocked face.
Taehyung looked at me blankly but then smirked slightly, looking forward. "That's short."
"What are we going to do, Taehyung?" I asked him but he just shrugged his shoulders, unbothered.
“The Muk-jji-ppa game will start . . . Now!”
The crowd started spreading every where. People started moving to each other. With that, I also started moving forward while holding my card.
"The strategy to win this gambling game is to strike first and gain in the upper hand." I overheard someone say to their partner and I hummed.
But I paused suddenly and turned around to see Taehyung still standing at the original place with his hands inside his pocket.
I quickly rushed to him, my panic taking control over my senses. "We have to collect 20 cards in 10 minutes and gain the upper hand!" I yelled at him.
He looked at me blankly and said, "Let's take it easy, partner." He turned around and walked away from the crowd.
I shivered in fear. This guy will lose and make me lose as well. What if I die like the other girls from the last game?
No!
No way!
But then I looked at Taehyung sitting on a chair silently watching others play. I sighed and slowly walked over to him.
Namjoon's POV
"Hey! Let's do a battle!" A guy said to me but I pushed him back. "Let's do this!"
"Let's do this!" I pushed them all back. I walked over to a guy with a smirk playing on my lips. You have to guess their hand. It's all about luck.
I held the card behind my back and smiled cutely at him. "Let's do it!"
The guy smiled and nodded. "Sure!" We walked over to the table where the person was wearing the white wooden mask on his face, the host of the game.
We raised our cards high up in the air. "Gawi- bawi-bo!" We slammed our flashcards on the table.
✌️ ✌️
"No count! Thank you for playing with me." I said and smiled to him.
I walked over to my partner and winked at him. "Your turn now." He smirked back and went to the table where the guy was still standing.
"If you only have one card each then a tie will end up in a No Count." My partner mumbled to himself while walking forward.
"In other words, you will know the opponent's card." I whispered to myself what I said to my partner earlier.
"That way the other partner plays the opponent in the game and wins." He whispered and stood in front of the man.
"Hey! I want to play with you!" My partner screamed cheerfully and the guy nodded. They raised their cards in the air. "Gawi- bawi-bo!"
✊ ✌️
"Alright!" My partner exclaimed and the guy rubbed his face with his hands in defeat. The masked man looked at my partner. He raised his hand at my partner before declaring,
“Seokjin wins!”
