Mirae's POV

I fixed my red dress and adjusted my glasses as I saw the two tall men approaching me. They smiled at me as I waved at them.

"Hey, Mirae. Are you ready?" The dark haired guy asked and I nodded. "I am nervous, Jin."

He smiled and patted my head. "Don't be. All of us will be here." Namjoon said with a smile and then winked at Jin. "Are you both dating?"

"Dating? Oh, please! They were literally moaning in the storage room yesterday." Jungkook said, approaching us with a disgusted face.

While Jimin was chuckling beside him. "Well, I must say, little scientist. You are really a genius. Thank you for giving voice to Yoongi and Hobi." He said with a genuine smile and I nodded at him.

"We should be the one thanking her. Not you." Yoongi said with an annoying look. But I saw Hobi looking at Jenny behind me. "Erm... This is my robot, Jenny."

"Hi, Jenny." Hobi said, extending his hand and all of us giggled at the interaction of the two robots. "I hate couples!" Yoongi exclaimed.

"So is our little girl, ready?" Jungkook said slamming his hands on my shoulders. "I'm not little!"

"You're a sweetie!" Jimin said wrapping his arm around my neck as I whined. They chuckled. "Let's go! It's time!"

"So this is the latest game of VCorp. And you are the creator of this game. Are you a developer of this company or a freelancer?"

I brought the microphone close to my mouth. "Actually, this was a failed application to see the future. I had initially written the codes to see the future of the user but somehow the codes were made for a survival game.

And then a developer, Kim Seokjin of VCorp contacted me and asked me about my projects. I didn't even apply to their company but somehow he said that he found me through my university projects.

Then Jin and I, both worked on this gaming system. I thought of changing the name but Jin said to keep it as Mirae which means future. So that's how an application turned into a VR survival game."

"Well, to be honest, our CEO helped us a lot. I always just transferred his ideas to her." Jin said.

I looked at him in shock. He nodded and I squinted my eyes are him. "Well, I didn't know about that."

“Do you want to say something about the game?”

I just answered that didn't I? What else is there to say?

"Erm... Mirae is a survival game—"

"This is a survival game unlike any other games in my company. Or to be more precise, it is the most interesting survival game ever made." I saw a boy approaching us.

He was wearing a loose red shirt, black pants, dangling cross earring in his left ear. There is no denying that he looks really good with his hair styled in waves and dyed a moonlight silver.

He came to us and stood right beside me, staring at me deeply before looking back in the front. He smiled at the reporters.

I looked back and the reporters were already clicking more pictures of him. I turned to look at him in confusion. He peeked at me before smiling at me.

“Mr. Kim, what makes this game so interesting?”

My eyes widened. Mr. Kim of VCorp. Kim Taehyung?

Wait!

I looked back at him with big eyes. He's the CEO of VCorp, ain't he?

He chuckled and replied to the question. "Well, the other games contain only one kind of game. But this system contains plenty of survival games of different genre. So you can taste every aspect of thrill and fear.

Just like it's name, Mirae, it's the future of all games. It's the Mirae of all the games.

And the most important thing about this game is that, you will have to spend just a minute to play this game but you will feel like you have spent 3 months in this game."

The reporters were bobbing their heads in excitement. While I looked at Taehyung in delight. He gave me a reassuring look as the reporters have us a thumbs up telling that the interview is over.

"Phew . . . I felt like my pussy is going to fly off!" Jungkook said shaking his head and all of us started laughing.

"You don't have a pussy, idiot!" Yoongi commented.

Jungkook glared at him. "Mirae, I liked the old mute Yoongi! This one is an asshole!"

"Anyway, let's go and play this game. Now that it is launched." Jin said, clapping his hands and I bit my lips in nervousness.

"The beta tests are over?" Namjoon asked and Jin nodded. "Yes, and the feedback was great. Let's go!!" He said, pulling Namjoon away towards the gaming room.

"Jimin! Let's go!!!" Jungkook said, lifting Jimin up. "Jungkook! Wait! Mirae!"

I chuckled as I watched Yoongi shaking his head and following them.

Hobi extended his hand to Jenny as she looked at it emotionlessly before grabbing it. I smiled when they walked away from us.

I heard Taehyung clearing his throat. I turned to peek at him. "Come on, partner." He said, extending his hand towards me and saying.

“Play with me.”
