Taehyung's POV

I knocked on the door of Jimin's penthouse and slowly entered it. There was complete silence. I spotted Yoongi in the kitchen.

But as I was passing by, I saw Jimin and Jungkook sitting on the table with their heads down.

"Kim Taehyung is here." I heard Hobi's voice and looked at the way Jungkook and Jimin jumped on their places she came running to me engulfing in a hug.

"Holy fuck! Taehyung! You're alive!" Jimin said and the bags fell from my hands. Jungkook started kissing my hands and I scrunched my nose in disgust.

"Where were you all these days?" Jungkook asked and I saw Jin coming to us return a shocked Namjoon beside him.

"Damn! I'm so happy that we are all alive. We thought it was Game Over for you." Jin commented but Namjoon was silent.

"What game did you get that you were gone for six days?" Jimin asked and released me.

"Solitary confinement. It was more like a complicated game so I don't want to explain." I said but my eyes were looking for Mirae.

"Where is Mirae?" I asked and Jimin looked at Jungkook. "She—"

"In her bedroom. She is in trauma." Jin said and I frowned at his words. "Trauma?"

"Actually, she was trying to help someone by risking her own life while playing the game. Namjoon saved her and I kind of scolded her. But she saw a person turning into ash in front of her eyes and now —"

"She's blaming herself." I completed and they nodded. "She was also crying because you didn't return. She thought that you might have been eliminated."

I sighed and nodded before picking up my bag and walking back to our room. "She's inside?"

They nodded when Jimin spoke. "I'll bring in the food in a while. Convince her to eat. She barely eats these days."

I heard Jungkook and Jimin telling Yoongi to cook something when I unlocked the door. I creaked it open and saw Mirae on the bed sleeping.

But she was uncomfortable.

She was sweating badly and squirming in her sleep. I kept the bags on the table before taking off my shoes and walking to her.

I laid myself on the bed beside her and rubbed her arms gently. "Partner?" I shook her gently so as to wake her up from the nightmare.

"Mirae," I called out and she opened her eyes while panting heavily. I rubbed her arm in a comforting manner. "Taehyung?"

"Yes, partner." I said and she teared up. She pulled me in a bone crushing hug and I grunted in pain. "Ouch, partner. Oh my God."

I felt her crying in my chest and I sighed before wrapping my arms around her figure. "It's alright, partner."

"Taehyung, where were you? I missed you so much." She cried on my chest and I caressed her back. "Mirae, this hoodie is dirty. Don't cry. Wait." I pulled her back and saw her puffy eyes and soaked face.

I took my hoodie leaving me in just my sleeveless top and I smiled at her cute face. I cupped her face and wiped her tears. "Partner, why are you crying now? I'm here."

She looked at me with her red eyes. "Your eyes are so beautiful. Don't bring tears to them. Okay?"

"Taehyung, I tried to save him but I couldn't—"

"Shh... Don't blame yourself. The only thing that matters in playing these games is saving yourself. Don't care about others." I said, smiling at her.

"But- but —"

"No, buts. I just know that if this is an apocalypse then you'll be the only one who'll survive." I said, stroking her hair.

"I lost my parents too, those girls in the alley and now this man." She said, crying. And I sighed.

The door opened suddenly and I pulled her head to my chest, burying it in my neck, hiding her tears from others.

I saw Jimin and Jungkook holding trays of food and coming to us. Jungkook mouthed me how's she and I just blinked my eyes to signal them.

"We are keeping the food here. Make sure to eat, okay, sweetie?" Jimin said and she just hummed with her face on my neck.

"Don't cry, Mirae. It aches my heart." Jungkook said, patting her head and then smiling at me.

Both of them left the room and I sighed before pulling Mirae back only to find her already sleeping. I chuckled and then rubbed her back while mumbling.

"I missed you too."
