meleys

a crown of bone and fire,

upon a crimson brow.

high, and ever higher,

reigned the savage howl.

strong as the foundations

of the world below,

stands the proclamation

of nature's blood-flow.

a queen of red in name,

to stand against the old.

a queen of teeth and flame,

to stand atop the gold.
