I headed back up to the business level and was met with an open door. That was weird. Normally the office door stays closed for safety. I guess Ishani has new goals since I left. I headed into the office and didn’t find anyone. There was no indication of where people had gone. The only thing I could think of was being in the midst of the fight. I guess that’s what I’d have to do. Fight.
I headed back to the elevator and then down to the ground level. I got off and started fighting. I turned and slashed with my daggers. Someone’s bullet skimmed my arm and I cried out at the sudden pain. I got back up and continued slashing. I made my way to the entrance of the palace. There was a huge smoke plume in the distance. I looked like it could be in the Under City. If it was that big from all the way in sector 57 then how big was it actually? As were Wren and Kalani alive?
