“Hunter! What do we do!” Tech cried out from behind a piece of debris, their mission had gone from a dream to an absolute nightmare. It started off with them collecting the details from a buyer to them running from a gang of bounty hunters. Tech and Hunter had got separated from Omega who was scrambling to find a safe spot. The three siblings were terrified,

“Hunter, I have lost Omega on my scanners!” Tech shouted avoiding another gunshot, Hunter could only nod pulling his younger brother closer, the engineer ran ahead only to gasp as he came face to face with the enemy. Hunter grabbed him intending on going down the other alleyway when they soon found themselves surrounded.

“What are our odds Tech?” Hunter questioned, worried for themselves and Omega, “15% we come out of this alive” Tech stuttered pulling out his pistols.

“Why didn’t we bring Wrecker!” Tech thought out-loud while scrambling up a nearby roof with Hunter following, the two leapt across the rooftops. “I told you, he is investigating something else with Cross” Hunter repeated as he finally got a signal to Echo, “You mean he is intoxicated!” Tech corrected, “I didn’t say that” Hunter shouted back, slipping back to take down the two bounty hunters close to his batchmate’s back.

“Yeah, I’m sure the two are investigating” Tech snarked back,

“If you two are done bickering, duck!”

Wrecker’s pyromaniac happy tone made them look up to see the demolition expert in the cannon seat of the Havok Marauder in which Echo was flying. Tech and Hunter were quick to climb aboard as the beast inside of their demolition expert was unleashed. The bounty hunter’s didn’t stand a chance to avoid the onslaught of bullets.

“Where’s Omega?” Echo asked coming into the body since Tech had taken over, Hunter scratched his head slipping into the cockpit. “We got separated, Tech, do you have a read on her?” Hunter said, running a worried hand through his hair. Tech shook his head, “It seems we have run into some interference and I have some bad news” “What could be worse than this, Tech?” Wrecker asked, coming into the cockpit.

“The Empire has arrived on Ord Mantell” Tech bluntly said, pulling up visuals to prove it to them.

“Hello, is anyone out there? Hunter? Tech? Wrecker? Echo?....Cross…”

“Omega, we read you. Where are you?”

Hunter said with a smile hearing the one who had become his daughter over his commlink. The batch shared looks of joy.

“About that, I don’t know. It seems I am in…hey! Get off!”

“Omega!”

“Hunter, help!”

“Omega!”

The line went dead, Tech turned to Echo who shook his head unable to narrow down on the signal.

“Got it, she seems to be down near the Black Suns Docks!” Tech suddenly broke the silence in the cockpit, Wrecker could only grin, moving to take the pilot seat and fly over to the coordinates. It took Hunter and Tech a minute to realise they were missing a member.

“Wrecker, where’s Crosshair?” Hunter asked sceptically.

“Taking care of business” Wrecker replied with a smile, which only made Echo face-palm. Knowing their marksman could be doing anything from shooting someone to being arrested.

“Wrecker” Hunter used his commanding voice.

“Drop the line”

They all jumped hearing the snake-like tone from their marksman. Echo did just that as they were suddenly aware of a small blond individual running towards the ship with another taller figure behind her defending her.

Hunter appeared in the doorway of the ship helping Omega climb up the rope, she smiled at him as she slammed into his chest in fright leaving Wrecker to help their missing member up the rope with a small crate held close to the marksman's chest. Tech took it on instinct allowing Crosshair to sit down out of pure exhaustion, Echo made sure to make the ship disappear and land in their usual spot. This time though Crosshair passed over a small datapad which allowed them to cloak the ship.

“Thanks Cross, but what the hell were you doing?!” Hunter roared at the marksman who could only smile swaying his hips slightly as he opened the chest. The batch gasped at the amount of credits in the small box. “Where did you get this? Please tell me you didn’t!” Echo turned on the slim marksman who smirked, “I did the job Cid asked, no questions asked. Let’s just say the Black Suns won’t be bothering us anymore” Crosshair snarked out leaning against the wall. Tech and Echo shared a ‘look’ as Wrecker took Omega. “Oh and Hunter. Jealousy is a disease, get well soon”. Hunter grimaced, pinching his nose in frustration.

With that said, Crosshair moved to exit the ship intending on speaking to Cid about payment. The marksman took some credits leaving them all with their mouths open. Crosshair could only smirk as he pressed a button on his wrist with fireworks blowing up in the distance. Or in other words the residents of Ord Mantell watched as the many ships in the atmosphere belonging to the Empire blew up within the Venator-Class Star Destroyer causing mayhem for the ones who thought they had power unaware of the secret organisations working together to destroy the Empire from within.

A ping on his wrist alerted him to a known ally.

‘It has been done, see you in the future. Commander’
