(Warnings: Death, miscarriage=still-born and Swearing. Messy Divorce)
“Like I said earlier, it wasn’t my fault!”
“Oh it wasn’t your fault that our daughter fell off that wire, you said it was safe!”
“Look I’m sorry how many fucking times must I have to apologise”
“Not enough! You know sometimes I wonder whether death took the right person!”
“Take that back”
Hunter heard the shouting before he even witnessed it, he hurried his footsteps from the garden where he was watching his recently recovered daughter, Omega run around with her cousins.
“No! I’m sick of your bullshit that everything is going to be okay! The one who did the drugs and almost died, is telling us all that everything will be okay. When it was you behind the wheel, you killed my twin and almost killed Hera!”
“I’m sorry Echo, I truly am”
“No your not, you fucking bastard! Because of you, my big brother is dead and I fucking HATE you! You should have died, you should be the one fighting for your life in the bed upstairs instead of Hera. Our sweet daughter! You fucking killed her!”
Wrecker made his way into the kitchen, it had been a few stressful months with the major car crash a couple of months ago. Taking the lives of not only Fives but Hera’s brother, Caleb. The blame wasn’t any of them bar the drunk driver that hit the passenger side, killing Fives on impact since he was beside Crosshair, the younger man ended up with a few scratches getting off lucky compared to Hera, Caleb and Echo. The three were fighting for their lives until Caleb passed due to a brain bleed. Echo was back on his feet a month ago after going through rehab to walk again and use his left hand which was severely damaged.
“Our KIDS, the MOTHER of CALEB and HERA, managed to kill his son and brother-in-law! How does that feel! You BASTARD! I HATE you! Get OUT!” Echo shoved Crosshair back, the younger man flinched. He had his own tears slipping down his face. Hunter entered only to frown at the face of his pale little brother. Wrecker moved to intercept Crosshair who ducked running for the front door.
“Wrecker grab him!” Hunter ordered, ringing Rex knowing Echo’s older brother would be able to help.
This wasn’t the first argument the batch had heard, ever since the crash Echo had been at Crosshairs back for anything. The younger man was already depressed as it is.
“Sarge, he’s gone as is his bike”
“Good” Echo muttered, slumping against the counter and hanging his head.
“Wrecker, ring him! Put an alert out!” Hunter ordered, Wrecker nodded knowing if his immediate younger brother was worried it must have been something bad.
“Why! Let the twat suffer, he deserves it!” Echo grunted only for a cup to slam on the counter. Echo looked up to catch the ‘look’ Hunter had, it was one protective older brother ‘look’. Echo actually grimaced holding his head.
“Hunter, I don’t want to worry you anymore but Echo is intoxicated” Tech spoke up entering with the half bottle of alcohol he had found in the living room where Echo had been sitting. Hunter turned to glare at Echo when the front door opened revealing to be Echo’s brothers: Rex, Hardcase and Jesse.
On big brother instincts Rex dropped to the floor pulling Echo into his chest while Hardcase ran around like a lunatic. Jesse only rolled his eyes taking the first aid kit out of his bag, well it was Kix’s but the doctor was on shift.
