"I'm done. We are done, I can't do this anymore! This distance is killing me, Cody I'm sorry but I can't…"

Cody looked down at his phone as he was hung up on, he sighed. Silent tears slipped down his face as he tossed his phone on his bed. He slumped back holding his head as he lay in his bed. His focus was on the ceiling as he thought back to his lover whom he was sure was his ex-partner. He sobbed climbing to his feet as he turned to look at himself in the mirror, moving his body to the side, he gasped seeing the small bump. It would seem he would have to raise his kids himself, it had been clear to him for a while now that Rex wasn't coming home. Nope, he had clearly found someone else. It was amazing what money would do to someone.

A knock on his door had his attention changed, he wiped away the tears only for the door to open revealing his oldest son. His six year old ran up to him only to hug his legs.

"I got you mama, I'm here"

Cody could only smile at his son's innocent face.

"I know and I'm glad to have you, you're all I need. Marcus, I hope you grow old and have kids of your own"

"It's Hunter"

"My apologies, Hunter I hope you have kids and find a lover to hold close. Can you do that for me?" Cody whispered, pressing a kiss into Hunter's hair. His six year old nodded with a smile, "mama, can we get ice cream?" Hunter's sweet innocent voice had him nodding as he grabbed his keys and wallet. Hunter put his shoes on as the two left their house, walking towards the nearest ice cream parlour.

Two months later…

Silent tears slipped down his face as he stared at a picture in his hands. A picture of his now ex-lover holding Hunter on his hip while he took a selfie. A sigh escaped his throat as he unpacked their remaining stuff up. It had taken him a good month to find a new place, a new environment that didn't remind him of his ex-lover as he and Hunter started their new adventure. He left friends and family behind as he travelled to a remote location where his cousin Cut and his wife Suu were from.

For the first few months it was challenging especially with pregnancy and thankfully he had made friends with his neighbours. They were in paradise, Cody had used all the money he had to keep his family safe. He even managed to run his company from the small island of Hawaii. He smirked watching his sons grow up, yes, he had another son. His name was Caspian who Hunter nicknamed Crosshair for his archery skills. Cody was impressed, it would seem his sons out did him on a few things.

Shortly the months became years to the point Hunter was playing in the front garden with his daughter who was barely the age of four. Over the years, Hunter noticed the pure struggle his mother had with trying to find happiness, the sacrifices Cody made were incredible for them all. He was even running the government's task force on the island of Hawaii, as marshall commander so he was earning money that way plus his company back where he was born was still going. So, he had plenty of money to make sure his kids graduated in whatever they wanted.

Crosshair had joined the military and that was where he met his lover, his nickname Mayday but Cody could only smile thinking back to how he got that nickname. Almost like the boy who cried wolf only to be telling the truth the whole time. Hunter on the other hand had Omega by an accident, his daughter's mother wanted nothing to do with him or her so Hunter was left to raise her. Thankfully he had help in the form of his mother, brother and his friends. Who became family with how much they popped in the house or slept over. Cody didn't mind his son's friends staying as they had become his own children in a sense.
