“So, you must be the silent one?” a smooth tone appeared beside him, Crosshair barely blinked as a cup of what he knew was alcohol was given to him. Unconsciously he took it. “I’m Phee, I’m sure you have heard about me, from the kid?” Crosshair could only nod, still not looking in her direction especially since he was on top of the Marauder and Phee had climbed up to speak to him. Phee smiled, she liked this one, however something had her glancing down and she saw Hunter watching the two of them, his fingers kept twitching around his gun.

“How do you fancy getting out of here for a bit?” Phee gestured to the area. Crosshair actually turned his body to show he was listening, “I need a helping hand on a ‘supply run’ and since I’m sure your so-called family who are watching you like a hawk, can use a break as much as you do, how about we sneak out tonight?” Phee whispered, Crosshair barely nodded.

“Some words would be nice, snake”

Crosshair only smirked, “That would be pleasant” his words tight as he climbed down from the ship, he reached up and Phee took his hand, she winked his way before walking over to the campfire where Omega wanted to hear more stories. Wrecker sat beside her rubbing Batchers head, the animal moving closer for cuddles. Hunter however couldn’t help but move into the Marauder where he found Crosshair, the marksman was staring down at his hands.

“You know you aren't fooling anyone with your act?” Hunter snarled, he was sick of Crosshair lying to them all about not being loyal to the Empire, he had chosen that path. Hunter was sure of it. As always with their argument, Crosshair ignored Hunter since it was one-sided, this always happened when Omega wasn’t in proximity. “You know you can continue to be silent around us but know that I am watching you, I don’t want to believe it but I think Howzer was right about something, you are hiding something and I want to know….”

“Sarge?” Wrecker’s voice had Hunter whipping around to see the demolition expert looking really worried.

“What is it, Wrecker?”

“There's been a fire down near the docks and Shep asked for our help” Wrecker gestured to the mayor who had scrambled for their help. Hunter nodded, he watched Wrecker grab their helmets, the bigger man glaring down at Crosshair who barely blinked.

“Stay here, we aren’t done having our conversation” Hunter threatened slightly, Crosshair could only watch them go, Omega scrambling with Shep, all four of them running off.

Silence passed through the minutes he was alone as he reached for his helmet, a set of footsteps had him looking up, “Come on, we haven’t got long until they realise, I set fire to dark and broody’s favourite shed and sent a message to Echo who is on his way” Phee’s voice had him blinking.

“You started the fire?” Crosshair questioned, Phee could only smirk, “Meet you at my ship in two?” she laughed as she jogged over to her ship. Crosshair smirked, he grabbed his pack, rifle and helmet before he decided to quickly write something out and placed it beside Lula, the tooka doll he had created years ago for the demolition expert. When it mattered, or more like when he mattered.

Meanwhile…

“Woah, I wonder how that happened?” Omega questioned, running up the stairs to catch up to her brothers.

“Accidents happen but then again when Phee is around, a fire is normally a cause of distraction especially when she is avoiding something” Shep jokes, his words caught the attention of both Hunter and Wrecker who frowned.

“That’s weird, what if someone got hurt?” Omega turned to Shep who smiled.

“As far as I am aware, no one has got hurt so far and….” Shep never finished as the blast of engines into the sky revealed two ships, one leaving while another landed.
