Going to bed happy was always something that brought a smile to her face. The reason why was due to the factor of her being reunited with her brothers, those of which she had missed deeply especially the one who she saw as a parent.

She expected to go to sleep and wake up on the moon that they’d meet, so when her eyes opened, she got excited and raced to the door only to gasp at what lay before her. None other than Ord Mantell. Somewhere she dreaded especially after last time, without even a second thought, anger spread over her features as she stormed into the cockpit where her flight partner was or escapie at the minute was.

“Why are we on Ord Mantell?!!” her anger barely had an eyebrow lifted.

“I need to do something”

“Well I need to reunite with Hunter and Wrecker”

“They can wait”

“No they can’t! Crosshair, you promised you’d get me home”

“I did no such thing, now stop complaining; we won’t be here for long. Twenty minutes tops” Crosshair grunted at her, throwing her a mask he had borrowed. “Wear this and the hood, to blend in” his words had her glaring at him. “Or stay here, one of the two. Why should I care?” His words had her kicking him in the shin.

“Your horrible, no wonder the batch left you behind” her words, although said in anger only had him blinking as he exited the ship with the stolen pistol and helmet. Omega could only watch him leave as she locked the door and sat in the cockpit, her eyes held tears within them, she felt horrible and all she wanted was Hunter.

Of course, she didn’t mean her words but she felt lost, she wanted stability and Crosshair just wasn’t that, the sniper of the batch was so different compared to the others. But at least he was precise as the door reopened twenty exact minutes later, he held a small silver suitcase in his hand.

“Here, you can give this to the others when you reunite” his words had her confused as he entered the cockpit, she took a seat in the small bunking area only to gasp. In the case was hundreds of credits, she watched the way a small compartment opened and a message popped up, ‘Loose ends have been cut, take this as a gift’. Those words made no sense to her as she placed it down and headed into the cockpit, the ship was flying through hyperspace. Ignoring the streams, she took notice of the way Crosshair was slumped into the seat, his feet up on the dashboard while a hand was tucked under his arm, holding his inner ribs.

“Crosshair? Are you asleep?” she softly asked. Her answer came with amber eyes blinking open and the dull look of ‘What?’ came her way. “Can I have a cuddle?” her words had him shaking his head.

“No”

“But Wrecker and Hunter let me…”

“Well I’m not them and the answer is no. Now go get some sleep” his tired voice had her blinking back tears.

“Please”

“No” his one word had her glaring.

“I’m glad I don’t know you as I won’t miss you, especially since you aren’t nice! You are a horrible person, I hope you die lonely!” her anger appearing again, Crosshair only raised an eyebrow as he watched her storm away before the cockpit door shut.

“Bloody kids” his curse was only heard by himself as he turned the camera’s on in the body, he took notice of her curled up in the bunk underneath a small sheet as she clung to what looked like a small armour piece that he knew belonged to a batchmate of his, somehow it had survived Tantiss. A beeping on the console had his attention drifting to an incoming moon appearing, a sigh escaped him as he stood only to groan as he felt blood slip underneath his hand, he immediately grabbed his coat and placed it on, the bandages underneath were tightened to hold the skin together. He would deal with it, once he got rid of the kid. Speaking of which, he easily landed the ship, immediately he caught sight of the Havok Marauder where he saw three figures in the doorway, two male, one female. It intrigued him but he kept silent as he walked into the body.
