"What do you want from me!"
"Maybe some peace! Do you know how much trouble you are!? I left everything behind for you! Everyone hated me! All because of you! I thought we could be happy but turns out you're just selfish! You and your fucking kid! I left my daughter because I believed we could be happy! Yes I see her but I didn't have custody because of you! Don't you understand you ruined my life! I fucking hate you! I don't love you! Yes I may have used you but…"
Golden eyes widened in shock as those words reached his ears. Followed by little footsteps.
"Cross…I…"
"Leave me alone…You've said your peace…we will go to this party and then we are getting a divorce…"
"Cross, please…"
"No, we are done. Now let's go see that our daughter departs happily"
"She's not yours…"
"Fine, I will go see if my daughter is happy before she leaves to travel the world. Must I remind you, Hunter. I raised her when you left to join that commando squad with your brothers. I stayed home not only because I went against several orders but because our baby girl needed watching over. I sacrificed my life for her, and she became my daughter as much as she is yours. So don't you dare say she's not mine too, even if I'm nothing on paper to you. She gets to dictate who's in her life and last I checked I was invited too" Crosshair spat at Hunter who frowned.
"Mama?"
"Yes bud?"
"Uncle Wreckers here. He says it's time. Are we going?"
"We are, come, your father needs time to get ready" Crosshair softly explained as he took his son's hand and led him away down the stairs. Hunter could only watch sadly as Crosshair put on a face and greeted Wrecker with a smile, the bigger man hugging him before he hugged his nephew.
Crosshair reappeared with something and shoved it in Hunter's hand, "For the sake of my children to be happy, I will continue to be your husband for the night but if there is someone else, just tell me instead of pulling a tantrum. Now you don't have to say right now but just put on a smile for our daughter, she is leaving and the last thing we need is for her not to enjoy her life" Crosshair whispered softly grabbing his wallet, keys, Phone and Epi-pen.
Hunter sighed following him out of the door, Crosshair was driving his own car. Their son was soon strapped into his car seat, he was barely six. Compared to their daughter, Omega who was twenty and she was leaving to travel the world with her best-friend tomorrow and was having a party/get together to say goodbye to all. Hunter decided to climb into the passenger seat while Wrecker climbed in the back with his nephew. Little Carlos was giggling to himself while babbling away to himself.
Due to Carlo's little distraction Wrecker never noticed Hunter's glances in the mirror or the way Crosshair tried his hardest not to flinch when Hunter placed a hand on his own or thigh. Hunter sighed looking at Crosshair who was trying to hide the silent tears, Hunter knew one thing he had screwed up ever getting back with Crosshair. He had managed to make something slip that he should have just told Crosshair, who wasn't too phased as he managed to sort himself out by the time they parked in the car park.
"Mama…turtle…"
Crosshair turned around only to smile at his son who was holding his teddy up towards him. He took it before lifting his son into his arms. Hunter went to grab Carlos' bag when Wrecker caught his brother's attention and took a selfie. Hunter grinned unaware that Crosshair had already entered with Carlos on his hip.
