After dropping Willow off, I stopped by Birdie's place. She got out of the car and went to the passenger window.

Rockie rolled his window down. "You got the keys?"

"Yeah," she said. "Just be safe out there, okay?"

"Always," he said.

She kissed him on the mouth. I was disgusted. Rockie was almost twice her age. He didn't even want kids. What was she doing with him?

The kiss lasted too long and I couldn't take it anymore. I rolled the window up.

"Hey!" Rockie said.

"You're letting the cold air in," I said.

Birdie blew a kiss. I could've sworn she looked at me when she blew it. Rockie wasn't even watching her.

I waved at her and she stepped back and waved. I started to drive away and Rockie finally looked over and waved to her.

"So where are we going?" I asked him.

"You could've just said you were jealous," Rockie said.

"I'm not jealous," I said.

"He's totally jealous," Cam said.

"Who wouldn't be jealous?" Duke asked. "I wish I had someone who loved me like that. Someone to kiss me goodbye and miss me when I'm gone and hold me close at night-"

"Duke, you are clearly drunk," Jordan said.

"Yeah. Aren't you the one who said all females are too emotional?" Cam asked.

"Yeah, that's the only problem with them. They blame you for everything and then leave."

"Just admit it, Crypto," Rockie said. "You're jealous."

"I'm not."

"Come on. Just say it. You'll feel better."

"No."

"Say it with me. 'I am jealous'."

"Can you just give me the directions?"

"Sure. As soon as you say it."

I shook my head.

"Come on, boys! Let's help him out!" Rockie cheered. "Everybody say, 'I'!"

"I!" they all chanted.

"'Am'!" Rockie pointed to them.

"Am!"

"'Jealous'!"

"JEALOUS!" they all screamed at the top of their lungs as they threw their paws up in the air as if they were on a rollercoaster ride.

I smirked. "Okay. Fine. I'm jealous. Happy?"

"I knew it!" Rockie said.

I rolled my eyes. "Can I have the directions now?"

"Yeah. Let me put it into my phone," he said as he turned on his phone. "And don't worry, Crypto. We'll find you a girlfriend in no time."

"Don't bother. I don't have time for one anyway."

"You could always quit your job."

"Nah. The Family needs more cops on our side."

"Lawyers are better," Jordan said.

"Yeah. You should've chosen to be a lawyer," Cam said.

"And go to law school? No thanks," I said.

"Recalculating..." Rockie's phone said. "Take a U-turn at the next left."

"Looks like you've been going in the opposite direction," Rockie said.

"It sure would've been nice to know that sooner," I said.
