Plot : A medic tired of the on going war stumbles into a dessert shop out of nowhere.

Sometimes when he had time for himself all alone, Ratchet thought more about the war and how much damages it had done. He had been keeping the pain of losing his home and old friends to himself, pretending it wasn't affecting him that much. Honestly everyone on the team were holding in their suffering and keeping them subtle. It was always better to leave the topic to talk about for another day, maybe after the war ended.

How long would it take then? Another year? Another million of years? Maybe the war would still continue on even after their human companions grew up and left them. Humans had such short time to live comparing to the Cybertronian's, but they made it work. They didn't give much impression on him at first, but as he spent more time around Jack, Miko and Raf, he admitted that they were nice to have around. Even though he wouldn't admit it out loud.

Then there was his role as the medic. He had experiences and more knowledge about medical stuff than his teammates, but sometimes...he felt like he could do more. He could saved lives but what about the ones that he couldn't? He managed to save Bumblebee from death but what about his voice box? Had he been more skillful, maybe he could have fixed the young scout fully. It wasn't enough. He could've done more. To help. To save. He wasn't as great as others claimed him to be.

On this particular night with him being alone and old memories began to flash in his optics, filling him with anxiousness and grief, Ratchet decided to step out of the base to take a drive around. He used the last coordinate stored in the log to groundbridge him out of the base, which happened to be in Japan. It was early in the morning there, with the time differences. Surrounded with trees, Ratchet drove around the area, following a trail until he caught the sight of a rather big gate near the east side.

He came to a stop, his rear mirror moved to make sure what he was seeing was real. Curious, Ratchet transformed into his bipedal mode and headed towards the gate. He noted the odd thick fog surrounding the gate, and as he came closer, it dawned on him that the gate was taller and bigger than him. Behind the gate, stood some kind of old mansion...wait, everything seemed big to him...

Either he had shrunk or the mansion was gigantic, Ratchet realized he had stumbled into an odd place. Maybe even somewhere he shouldn't be. He opted on leaving already, seeing that he had no business here, but then the gate creaked opened, as if it was inviting him in. Something inside him screamed at him to leave, warning him that this seemed to be a bad call. But there was some kind of force got him to walk further into the area passed the gate...until he stood in front of the entrance door.

" What am I doing? " The medic spluttered, turning around and left in a hurry. What just happened? His body moved on its own -- was he too exhausted that he didn't realized he walked to the front porch?

There was a sweet smell in the air -- one that he recognized ever since Miko kept bringing her snacks into the base -- chocolate? Is that it? Whatever the scent was, he better get out of here.

Ratchet transformed into his vehicle mode and sped off back into the forest. He glanced back at the mansion with his rear mirror.

There was no building, only tall trees and thick fogs.

He didn't remembered how he got back to the base and he didn't tell anyone about this -- oddly -- even to Optimus.
