Sarina POV

I drive out of the property. I totally forgot my phone, purse, change of clothes, everything. I left it all behind. I cannot believe he would do that. Fuck him. If he wants her, he can have her. I am not dealing with that bullshit. I think to myself as tears run down my face. 

I have been driving for hours now. My car needs gas so I stop at a gas station. I look around the car. I know Matteo usually keep a couple hundred bucks hidden in the car. I find the money. I get out the car and limp to the trunk. I open it and just my luck, Matteo still has my duffle bag in it. I look in the duffle bag and find some black Crocs and put them on. I walk into the gas station and get some snacks and pay for the gas. I head back and see someone leaning on my car. 

How the fuck did he get here so freaking fast? Damn trackers on his cars. I forgot about those. He sees me and then moves to the gas pump and starts pumping my gas. I don't say anything. Since the gas is on the driver side and he is on that side, I decide to go to the passenger side and sit down in the passenger seat until he is about done. 

I climb over the middle console and into the driver seat. I look in the side view and wait until he closes my gas gap. As soon as he does, I drive off. Left him standing there holding the gas pump. 

I see him smiling and shaking his head in the rearview mirror.

I drive out of the gas station and get back on the interstate. I decided that I was going to head back home to Virginia. I decided that I need to focus on myself and my business.
