Beatrice tried to open his eyes with fluttering eyelids. It felt like she had the worst hangover there was. A short movement hurt like hell. She straightened up carefully and tried to get an overview. There were several boxes around them and little light made it through rags that hung in front of the windows. In pain, Beatrice pulled up a box next to her. After still no one could see her, she took care of her injuries. She gently felt her stomach, head and chest. Quite quickly, she diagnosed several broken ribs and lacerations. Nothing life-threatening, but still hurt. Strained, she struggled from one box to the next to find an exit. Everything looked like a warehouse, so a goal or something like that had to be somewhere. Behind a partition, they did not fans the hoped-for exit, but something that looked like a place to sleep. Several cards and clothes were distributed around a blanket. Bea struggled to bend down and pick up one of them. Several cities across Spain and Portugal were marked. In some of them Beatrice has been in the past few weeks. However, a marking immediately caught her eye. The monastery was recorded on this map. Who damn brought her here and how did she come here? The last thing she could remember was a shape and a flash of light. Somewhat worried, she quickly looked for something where she could get out of here. It was already light, so she must have been passed out for a few hours and Dora and the others were sure to be looking for her.
"Damn it!" Beatrice shouted into the large room and sank back to the ground. It couldn't be that she didn't get out of here. Suddenly she heard a rustle and stood up in a flash. The stabbing pain was right for it.
A little further back, a slightly smaller person with a hood appeared. Beatrice couldn't see the face, but recognized a bag in the stranger's hand. Although she was unable to fight, she positioned herself.
„Who are you?"

"Beatrice." Bea would have recognized this one among all voices in the world.

"A ... Ava?" Slowly the shape put down the hood and revealed Ava's face. Overwhelmed and exhausted Sankt Beatrice to the ground. She had been waiting for that moment for so long and had almost given him up. Tears were pouring down her cheeks.

"Bea!"

Ava was with her with just a few steps and knelt in front of Beatrice. Also with tears in her eyes, she stroked a few strands from her face. Only now did Bea notice that her headgear was missing. She couldn't think about it too much, because Ava's soft, warm hands on her face were far more important. Both sighed and leaning on foreheads against each other and leaning on fore Wait. Finally Bea wrapped her arms around her and squeezed her as tightly as she could. Only when Ava moved a little away from her and was still very close did Beatrice notice that she hadn't really aged. In her eyes was not only joy about her reunion, something dark was reflected in it, whereby Beatrice did not know what it meant to her,
"Ava, what happend?"
Ava clearly backed up and looked at the bag on the floor. Something was wrong here. Once again she looked at the small camp where Ava had probably stayed a few times. That meant that she had to be here for a while. She hurriedly overturned how long Ava had to be to not really look older. Jillian had found a simple formula for it and Bea flinched at the result. She wanted to give Ava the chance to say it herself.
"How long? Ava? How long were ... "

" It was only a week. "

"A week?!" Repeated Beatrice shocked.

"Please, let ..." Beatrice stumbled back a few steps and Ava immediately came closer and held her on both arms while she spoke. "Let me explain it. In this timeline it was a week where I was three years. So much has happened and I would like to tell you everything. I just can't, you understand? I wanted to talk to you all the time and hug it again. "

"Then why didn't you? "

"I wasn't allowed to. The whole time I had an eye on you, but I couldn't get closer to you or show me."

Everything in Bea's head seemed to be racing. So much finally becomes clear.
„I felt you. From time to time I really thought you were standing next to me."

"I have. I learned so much about the halo there. Some tricks that I could be close to you without risking anything. "

Ava nervously shifted her weight from one foot to the other and only made Beatrice angrier. Too many questions comes up with every sentence Ava said. But one was probably the most important one for now, but second on her legs became more strenuous and painful. The need to just sit down was getting bigger and bigger.
„Why now? Why did you show up?"

"You weren't yourself, Bea. You did exactly what you always advised me against. Torture yourself and put yourself in danger. Today I could no longer watch and allow them to kill you!"

The pounding in her head grew stronger and it was more difficult for her to concentrate. Everything trembled and Bea could no longer keep on her feet. With a muffled 'plum', she landed on the concrete floor.

" Bea! "

Ava caught her as best she could and held her. Almost as Beatrice hold her in Adriel's cathedral two months ago, they were sitting on the cold floor. With the last of her strength she touched Ava's soft cheek before her eyes closed. She is back.
