Author: Hi there!!! While writing this, I realized that I've never actually explained how I imagine this world to look like... I should have added that to the story somewhere^^ Anyway, the world I imagine is a lot like the one in The Shannarah Chronicles, if you guys know it. If you don't, I'll explain quickly.

It's a post apocalyptic world. It's like at least 1000 years into the future from our time right now on earth. It is earth like we know it but after a huge catastrophic incident. Humans who survived, evolved over time into different species, like the witches and the fairies for example who have access to magic. There are more creatures of course but they're not relevant in this storyline. The world has gone back to it's natural roots. People living from the land. There are remains from our time (landmarks and such) but they are overgrown by nature and only a few know what they used to be. Countries don't exist any longer. They are realms of the different species. Ok I hope that clarified some things^^

LISA POV

The boys and I had succesfully caught some fish. Jisoo sliced them open and gutted them. She wasn't squeamish about these things. Unlike Jennie, who did not stay to watch. She rather helped gather wood for a fire on the beach.

Two hours later we were all sitting in a circle around a small but steady fire, eating our lunch. Having fish was so good. Finally something else than vegetables and berries to sustain us. I didn't really care for rabbit either that much but I always ate whatever was available.

Ever since Jennie and Namjoon had lit the fire, I felt something. Something lingering around us but I couldn't see. It was hard for me to distinct between my fairy intuitions and the feelings that Jennie's powers gave me. Like the strange pull of the water. So I really wasn't sure what this meant. It didn't feel threatening though so I tried not to mind it too much. It just felt... weird.

I let my mind circle back to the conversation the group was in. Thankfully Jennie was too occupied by making a point about staying here, to notice my wandering mind. Although I have also noticed that my witch mate was keeping something from me.

When she came back with Chaeyoung from the stream earlier there was a part of her mind that was determinedly closed. I couldn't enter. That was how I knew the two of them had a secret.

"With enough ressources, Lisa and my combined powers can build us actual homes." Jennie argued with J-hope.

The blonde boy frowned at her. "There is absolutely nothing around us. Anytime Jackson and I talked about settling, we always thought that it would be in or at least near a village or a town." He stared at Jennie. "You know, where we can get everything we need. A civilization."

"We can be our own civilization. We know we can survive here." Jennie argued with gleaming eyes. She was so adamant about staying here. When I first met her, she was this restless, fierce witch who had her eyes set on power and not on settling down with a bunch of humans and a fairy she refused to acknowledge as her mate.

"We'll be lonely here Jennie. There are no other people."

That made my little witch halt. She caught my eyes and I had to agree with J-hope. He was right. J-hope's best friend had died and his girlfriend of years had broken up with him. For him, settling, probably didn't feel like it did for us. Jennie had me and I had her. Chaeyoung would hopefully soon have Jisoo and vice versa. That left the three boys all alone. All throughout the history of time, humans have always strived not to be alone. It wasn't in their nature. And Jennie seemed to see that right now in their eyes and mine.

"We should move on to keep looking for a settlement or something. If you and Lisa are so determined on staying here, I'm not holding you back." He told her harshly.
