The first time Feitan heard of these monsters was when he was around seven.

He didn't mean to eavesdrop but his family made it so easy for him to hear their conversation.

From their perspective it sounded like these monster had sharp teeth and big claws that could cut a person in half with just a slap. They had white hair and you could see your reflection in their ghostly eyes.

He figured they were zombies but they seemed too clean to be dead. Vampires perhaps but they weren't afraid of the sun, they were rather afraid of the cold. They were cruel, that part was true but some of them tried to fit in and were terrible at doing so.

Especially (y/n).

He remembered hearing that the monsters in the Saturn kingdom were ugly but she wasn't ugly. Just an ugly personality but that was when there was a wall in between them during the first few months they met. After it came crashing down he found her a lot prettier than he had ever imagined. The moment he was sent to go kill her he hesitated and backed off, knowing that this monster would eat him alive. She'd rip his heart out, chew him up and end him with just a bite. He'd let her do it too if it meant she'd be the last to take his breath away.

He wasn't a poet, nor was he an artist that could hang a portrait in a museum. He absolutely didn't sing or write but if he could he'd ask every artist out there to make her their muse. He'd make sure to find a way to make others understand that the word perfect meant (y/n) and he'd make sure to protect her until the fire in his body finally blew out.

So seeing the tent ripped to shreds didn't blow the fire out inside him. It sparked a different type of rage that would light up and eat hundreds of forests.

Where is she? His jaw tightened and his hands clenched into fists. Where is she? Where is she!?

Leorio's whistle pulled him out of his thoughts and the doctor nodded to the footsteps on the ground. "It's an army."

An army? He almost laughed. They need an army to kidnap her?

"Stay here with the rest I'll go find her."

"Didn't you hear me? I said it's an army!" He shouted but Feitan had already started to make his way after these hunters. Leorio groaned to himself, wondering why no one ever listened to him.

It wasn't long before Feitan managed to find the first of the army. Three hunters that already seemed paranoid enough knowing what they were doing was obviously wrong. At first he was a bit worried. How was he going to take on an army of hunters that would gladly take his head off and throw it to king Tserriednich's feet? He'd have to be insane and luckily he was, otherwise he wouldn't have made it this far in life.

Thankfully he had learned from the best and the cruelest. (Y/n)'s mother was a horrible beast but she did always let the people know that her strength came from feasting. These hunters weren't good people nor were they bad but at the moment he was desperate to just get her back. He'd make sure to keep the curse under control and if he didn't then he'd just hope that (y/n) would be able to save him before it was too late.

His sword must have caught the attention of a hunter and before he could even take a good look at Feitan his world turned upside down. A slit across the neck was deep enough to cut his head off and the hunter dropped without a sound.

Drenched in blood from head to toe, Hisoka was rather annoyed of it. He was annoyed of the entire thing. He knew that (y/n) and Feitan were a thing. He had heard the rumors before her mother even noticed it. So he wasn't surprised that the man had caught up to them in a flash.
