(Y/n) knocked on his door a couple of times but didn't receive a response, every time the knock being more and more aggressive. She sighed loudly to herself, already growing irritated that she had to wait outside his door for almost five minutes. She hated waiting.

She leaned on his door, taking a moment to calm herself down. She thought about walking in but she feared the worst, she didn't want to walk in on him changing. She shook her head, it was too quiet inside his room for him to be changing. She groaned, completely annoyed that he wasn't answering the door. Without another thought she began to bang on his door, louder this time.

"Hey Feitan! Open the fucking-"

"May I remind you a lady should never use that kind of words inside the palace."

Cammy's sudden voice made her jump. She realized the only reason why he wasn't answering the door was because he wasn't in his room. Instead he was with Cammy walking around the palace.

Feitan didn't seem surprised by her choice of words. Instead he felt more interested in the other side of her where she wasn't always acting like the perfect princess. He gave her a small smile before pulling his key out of his pocket.

"Did you ever come to think that perhaps I wasn't in my room?"

(Y/n) pursed her lips, annoyed that he was teasing her again. It worried her that this would soon become a small habit of his. No one had ever dared to talk back to her, everyone feared her and her mother. Yet this guard easily made her feel flustered about everything he did or said.

"Why weren't you in your room? Was my order not clear enough for you to understand, foreigner?"

"Foreigner?" he mumbled to himself, surprised that his princess was calling him such names.
He glanced at her before turning back to his door. He didn't even unlock it, instead he opened it. The door was unlocked this entire time. Is it because I speak Chinese? He thought, exhausted with her attitude. "I was hungry, none of your servants came."

Her face dropped, anger getting replaced with even more embarrassment. She had forgotten to send her servants to bring him breakfast, all because her head was filled with thoughts of how their tempted kiss could have ended if a servant didn't walk in on them.

"Sorry." She mumbled but it was loud enough for both of them to hear.

Cammy stood there shocked, she had never heard her lady apologize for something. Even if she had done something wrong, she never apologized. She simply just ignored it.
She felt awkward around the two, there was a strange tension in between them that she couldn't understand.

"I'll leave you two alone now, I'll be in the kitchen if you require any assistance my lady." Without hesitating Cammy ran down the hallway, disappearing around the corner, leaving both of them alone.

She turned her attention back to Feitan. "You could've told me instead."

"You were talking to prince charming." he responded bluntly.

She gripped tightly to the sword, never had she been responded in such a way. She couldn't throw a tantrum either, she needed this guard or else Eric would tell her mother. It would also make her look like a fool for defending him earlier.

"You need to learn some manners, keep your mouth shut."

Feitan only stared at her, not amused or threatened by her. He moved out of the way so she could get inside his room. It had only been a couple of days and it was already messy.
She noticed used paintbrushes all over his room, on his balcony he had dozens of canvases, using whatever sunlight he could get to paint. Some used, some were not. She stepped over his work cautiously, trying to not ruin them.
