Feitan gave her one last glance before he left her room, deciding to roam around the unbothered palace while everyone partied in the throne room. He stood by her door, adjusting his coat, giving the passing servants a small nod in which the servants all giggled to each other. Obviously under his love spell.

He almost laughed at them, rolling his eyes and walking the opposite way from them. Well, he almost did, he stopped one of them to ask for directions. He felt like an idiot once he realized that most of the palace was unexplored to him.

"Library?" He asked them in one word, hoping they could understand him.

Both servants panicked, their faces immediately turning red once the attractive guard everyone had been talking about was talking to them.

"T-Third floor, it's the second on the left."

"Thank you." He said before walking off.

The servants furiously nod, both of them gushing over him. They continued on, both of them mumbling with each other, saying how lady (y/n) was lucky to have such an attractive guard. Feitan ignored them and sighed.

"Women are so gullible." He thought to himself as he walked upstairs that led to the third floor.

He opened the door to the library, peaking inside to make sure it was empty. Luckily it was. He closed the door behind him, his fingers tracing the spine of every book that rested on the dusty shelf. He made his way to the back of the library where the light didn't reach. He inspected each spine before he found the one he was looking for.

It was a dusty book, he figured whoever put it there was trying to hide the book, or at least tried to. Considering the fact that most of the books were dirty, he figured that no one even bothered to come to the library anymore. It was a place where no one would think of finding a photo album.

He opened it, flipping through the pages. The first couple of pictures were mainly just the palace being constructed. When it was finally done a group of kids stood in front of the palace. They were children, children who were perhaps around the age of 10-12. He raised an eyebrow, confused by the children who wore clothes that didn't look like it came from the royals, in fact, they wore rags that barely even managed to cover them. A few of them he recognized from earlier, this time they're faces had matured. (Y/n), nor her sisters were in them.

He ignored the thought, flipping deeper into the photo album before stopping at one specific photo. In the photo he saw (y/n), her twin sisters, her mother, both of her royal guards-one of them being his father and behind them was supposed to be (y/n)'s father. His face scratched out, as if someone was trying to get rid of him from the photo.

"Family problems?"

"A guard who almost managed to kill the prince during his tryout is looking through the photo album, that isn't suspicious at all." She remarked.

Feitan jumped up, not expecting to find someone in the library at this hour. He slammed the photo album closed and looked up to see Cammy.

"What are you doing here?"

"Investigating." He said being straight forward, not bothering to even lie to her.

She clicked her tongue, crossing her arms and giving him a dirty look.

"Calm down with (y/n), she can't be distracted with boys. She needs to focus on her coronation."
