(Y/n) only took one step, the sword she held tightly in her hands behind her as she got ready to strike. Suddenly she felt a piercing pain in the back of her head, her legs weakened and she collapsed to the ground. Masami had hit her with the hilt of her sword, obviously she wasn't going to go easy on her after everything she dealt with.

She's too fast, I can't even land a hit on her.

(Y/n) frowned, wiping the cold sweat she was having just from trying to attack her. She sighed, already bored with the training.

"I give up." She dropped her sword.

"You can't do that! Get up!" She snapped. Feitan's attitude must've rubbed off on her.

Training started every morning before the sun rose, it was the perfect time for her to train since it was a freezing temperature. Not only did she have to watch for Masami's attacks, she also had to keep herself from losing it. There would be times where she would drop dead, clawing herself to remain calm but after a couple of days she managed to get the hang of it. By the time training would end (y/n) would be covered in bruises and small cuts that she received from Masami's attacks, meanwhile Masami wouldn't have a single bruise on her.

Weeks had past and (y/n) hadn't seen Feitan at all, he was slowly turning into a lost memory to her. She was certain if he didn't appear any time sooner her memory loss would make her forget about him. Not only that, so did Cammy and her mother, as well as Eric and Jupiter.
By the time a month had passed by, Masami had to keep her guard up to not get cut by (y/n)'s sword, she had to admit, her student had improved and so did their friendship.

As a small celebration they all held a small party for themselves to keep their hopes up.

"I would like to say a few words," the witch said, raising her hand to grab everyone's attention. The dining room went silent, listening to what their precious fragile leader had to say.

"I can't remember the last time the dining room was packed," she chuckled, putting her glasses back on to make sure she wasn't hallucinating it. She smiled warmly, "I have hope that the rebellion will finally bring down the empire!"

Her children all cheered happily, bringing their drinks up into the air as a way to celebrate their happiness. They continued the music, dancing and eating with their friends.

(Y/n) rested her chin on her palm, she smiled happily along with Masami who was already drunk.

"I do hope that day comes soon, I can't wait to walk the streets without freezing." Masami said, sighing happily. "Wouldn't that be nice?"

"It would."

"I can imagine it already! The grass, the blue sky, the summer breeze."

(Y/n) frowned, she stared down at Masami who was currently drunk. Meanwhile (y/n) decided to just have one beer, afraid that she would be out by the second one.

"Do you miss Fei?"

"F-Feitan?" She felt her face grow warm from the sudden question. For a moment the memory of his face went fuzzy, as if she was finally forgetting about him completely. She cleared her throat, ignoring her mixed emotions.

"No."

Masami looked up, "Really?" She asked astonished, she raised an eyebrow wondering if she was lying. She was sure that she had felt a romantic tension between them when he brought (y/n) along for the first time.
