"The day has finally come for you to carry out your mission."

Feitan felt himself become stiff the moment he read through the files. Dozens of cut out newspapers were on the page, pictures taken from the royal family, except of course the queens daughter. Not only that, it was the worst royal family in the region. He frowned upon realizing he would have to defend a cruel princess, what luck.

"Speak of the devil, my father used to guard this bitch."

Phinks looked over his shoulder when he heard his friend mutter in his own language. "Who do you have?"

"(L/n)."

"Oh really? I have the one from the Neptune kingdom."

The royal Neptune family is one of the most colorful kingdoms, Feitan would rather defend that brat than a (L/n) princess who is cruel to everyone. Not that it mattered, they were all the same. All 8 kingdoms are cold hearted but the rebellion was desperate for help, if they manage to turn their twisted minds and make them see how cruel they were than there was a possibility of change for the future. They were sure with the help of just one kingdom they could end this nightmare.

"This is stupid, isn't it better to just kill them?"

"We could do that, but it wouldn't change anything."

Phinks noticed his anger and impatience, he realized Feitan didn't want to become a guard and protect a selfish princess. He grabbed his shoulder, giving it a small tight squeeze to bring his attention to him.

"If you kill her, I'll kill you. Don't fuck this up for us."

"I know." Feitan scoffed, pulling away from his friend.

"Phinks, Feitan!" A girl ran up to them, shouting their names and catching their attention.

"Who are you?" Feitan asked, confused why a random girl had gone up to them.

The girl froze, her face turning red once realizing her hero didn't recognize her. Then again, she had been fed and cleaned up, she didn't look like a street rat anymore, instead she looked like a normal girl. Her brown hair was brushed and her eye was bandaged.

"Masami, the girl from a couple of days ago, I just wanted to thank you both for saving me."

"Oh! It's you." Phinks said, finally snapping out of his thoughts once he recognized her. He chuckled as well before patting Feitans back. "You should thank Fei instead, he's the one who had the idea."

"It wasn't my idea." He tried to say but Masami had already latched onto his hand.

"Thank you. Seriously, without you I would've ended up dead on the streets."

The small gesture made Feitan panic for a moment. It was probably the first time a girl has held his hand, but he never expected it to be from a girl who was almost dying. He pulled away from her, backing away and if it wasn't for Phinks grabbing both of his shoulders to keep him in place he would have walked away already.

"It's fine." He bluntly responded.

"Come on Fei, tell her how she can repay you for saving her life."

"I'm really busy right now." Feitan glared at his friend, already knowing what he was up to. He escaped out of his grip and brushed past both of them. "I'll be on my way tomorrow."

"Hey! Remember what we talked about!" Phinks reminded him but Feitan only waved his hand, not interested in what he had to say anymore.
