I unlocked the door and threw it open. I saw the inside of my mom's house. It's been a year since everything happened. I still had a brace on my leg. I turned to Jonah and took a deep breath.
"Are you okay with this?" I asked.
"Yeah," He grabbed my hand. "I love you."
"I love you too."
I began to walk into the house when Jonah put his hand on my chest. He then picked me up in his arms.
"Dork, we aren't married." I laughed.
"I know," Jonah responded. "This is tradition."
Somehow we convinced our parents to let us move in with each other. I kissed him and then jumped down.
"Holy shit!" I said.
"What?" Jonah asked.
He grabbed my hand.
"I wasn't expecting to own a house at nineteen."
"Fair enough."
Jonah closed the door behind us. I looked around as memories returned, and I turned back to him.
"Are you sure you want this?" I asked.
"Of course," Jonah responded.
He walked up to me and kissed me.
"Are your parents okay with this?" I asked.
"Ari," He grabbed my waist and pulled me close to him. "My parents love you; I love you, and they want us safe. Are your parents okay with this?"
His parents showed up a week after I woke up. They explained that they went into hiding once Rosie threatened their lives.
"Which pair?"
"The Lancasters."
"They are supportive of whatever I do. Anya and my dad are happier that I'm closer to them."
We headed to our couch and sat down. Jonah then turned to me.
"What now?" Jonah asked.
"We can relax," I responded.
Jonah wrapped his arms around me, and I leaned against his chest.
