When I woke up, I saw a familiar face.
"Hi," I said.
"Hi," Jonah responded.
Jonah kissed me. He hugged me the best he could.
"I missed you so much." I cried.
"I missed you too," Jonah responded.
Jonah sat back down on the chair next to my bed. I began to mess with his hair.
"Have you found your parents?" I asked.
Jonah shakes his head no. I grabbed his hand.
"We will find them, I promise." I consoled.
"I know," He responded.
The door opened to my room, and Anya walked in. We locked eyes.
"Oh my god!" Anya cried.
She came to the other side of me and kissed my forehead. Kolby walked into the room, and my dad and I locked eyes.
"JONAH AND I ARE GOING TO GET LUNCH!" Anya said.
"What? No." Jonah responded.
Anya then grabbed Jonah by his shoulders.
"WE ARE GOING TO LUNCH!"
"Okay, fine.Jesus."
Jonah kissed my forehead. Anya and Jonah then left the room. There's a moment of silence.
"Hi, dad," I said.
Kolby then hugged me.
"Hi, sweetie... I'm so sorry." My dad responded.
He released me from the hug. He sat on the chair next to my bed.
"So...How did you find out?"
"A DNA test while you were asleep."
There was another moment of silence.
"I met mom while I was...out," I explained.
"Oh." He responded.
"Do you know what Rosie did?"
"Now I do."
There was another silence.
"I'm sorry, you had to find out that way... You're my daughter, and I want to be a family. Would you want that?"
"Of course I do."
"Okay."
Kolby kissed my forehead. He sat back down.
"Do I ever have to see Rosie again?" I asked.
"Well, at the trial. After that, we are cutting her off."
"Okay,"
We talked about what happened in our lives over the past eighteen years.
