Tobias:
"Hello Clay, how are you? Did vou sleep well?"

Clay:
"Im Good. Didn't got these much sleep but ok. How are you?"

Tobias:
"I'm fine too. I was just thinking about you all night. Do you mind if I just come over to your place right now?"

Clay:
"Sure."

You gave Tobias your address and quickly got ready. After 30 minutes your doorbell rang. When you opened the door, Tobias was standing in front of the door. "Hey, come in. Oh.. you look stunning.." you said while laughing. „Thanks, you too!" he answered all laughing. So that Tobias could enter you stepped aside and he came in. He took off his shoes so like his jacket and you went into the living room.

Tobias looked around while marveling at how nice you live here. "Do you want something to drink?" you asked him. "Nah, I'm good. Shall we sit down?" you just nodded while you nervously took a seat on the sofa.

"Before I start explaining at length. I am no longer the way you knew me. And the fact that I was with you in your childhood is because I was sent by someone. I don't normally look like I do right now." You thought for a moment that he had been drunk. At first you didn't want to believe him, but something felt strangely good about the story.

Tobias stood up and did something with his hands. Seconds later, he was a different person. He was wearing a red suit and his face was completely different. "Wait a minute... aren't you the singer from that band Ghost?" You remembered the band from yesterday.

"Yes, that's me, may I introduce myself as Papa Emeritus the 4th or simply Copia. And ehm... this is for you." He reached into his suit and pulled out an black letter. You opened the letter while Copia watched you. It was an invitation to hell. You were confused.

"What is the meaning of all this? Why are you here? Why did you have to take care of me?" Inside you were getting a little angry because you finally wanted an explanation.

"It has in commen with your father. He was a special ghoul from hell and lived with us in the church. He fell in love with your mother and that's how you were born. A human and a ghoul, when Satan found out he was killed immediately even though he was important. I was supposed to look after you too, because nobody knew if you had black blood like your father. You grew up and it seemed like you just became a normal person. My job was done but I didn't want to let you go, there was something about you that I couldn't forget. When I told Hell about it, they issued you the invitation. They think you might be special after all even though you didn't showed it now."

You finally realized why he had so suddenly disappeared at collage. You thought back to so many times when you questioned your life and retreated every time. You also had to think back to the moment when the wind suddenly started talking to you. Were you really special?

"But what will happen to me if I accept this invitation?" your interest was piqued, but you remained cautious. "You would move to me in the church. My brothers, my ghouls and a few sisters live there. If you decide to go to hell, we could turn you into a ghoul. I have to say that you're hardly getting any older. Here on earth, you'll grow old and die at some point and in hell you're immortal." "That sounds cool. And what's hell like?" "Very different to how it's embodied. It's almost exactly like here on Earth, except the people are just different."

"What's it like to be a ghoul?" "It varies from ghoul to ghoul. Each ghoul has their own element, so they can cast spells individually. There aren't tons of elements, but I wouldn't want to list them now." Copia laughed.

It was a long, pleasant conversation between you. You asked all the questions that were in your head on the subject, while Copia answered them all for you.

You wanted to find out what life was like, but you were also finally happy in your current life. But is this the right path for you? You remember how you told yourself that the right path would be the one with Tobias. "Can I just have a look at the church where you live?" "Of course, it's quite late now. If it's convenient for you tomorrow, I'd pick you up." "Sure, we can do that."

You take Copia, who has turned back into Tobias, to the door. "Nice to see you again," you said as he walked down the few steps from your house to his car. "I thought so too. Interesting to see how you've changed so much." You smiled a little before he got into the car and you went back to your house.

Copia wrote you a message that evening, just before you went to bed.

Copia:
"Once again about immortality. You deserve my point of you from that. You became so important to me in your childhood and you are so important to me still. It broke my heart a little when I thought about you getting older and dying while I live on. Having you by my side would mean so much to me. I'm looking forward to showing you my world tomorrow and I hope you like it."

Clay:
"That's really nice to hear from you. I'm also really excited to see how you live."

You spent the night dreaming about what the church could be like and what it would be like if you spent your life there. Even the next day at breakfast, you couldn't stop thinking about it. As these thoughts became more and more of a desire to take that step.

What if this is the right path. The path that was made for you.
