Chapter 14 - Packing For The First Tour

You woke up in an empty and cold bed. Only now you realized what happened last night. And immediately regret it.

You went weak on Mountain's BloodyMoon effect and let his power rule your body. Mountain just needed to fulfill his wish and didn't care about you. He definitely not showed you how good sex can be. You felt used and disgusted like you always felt after sex with one of your ex's. Why were you so stupid and fall for him?

You wanted to stay in bed all day long but you were starving so you slowly got up. You half-heartedly got dressed, tried to cover the hickeys Mountain gave you and went down to the cafeteria to eat lunch.

Mountain looked at you with a disgusted look showing you that he definitely regret sleeping with you. It felt like all eyes were on you as you sat down on your regular place. And as always now and then you heard your name coming out of Faires mouth and then laughter or looks at you.

They didn't even tried talking without you knowing. It seems like they want you to know that they are talking about you. And this hits you harder than you thought. Tears welled up in your eyes as you quickly finished with eating and left the cafeteria immediately. Up in your room you went to your bathroom.

"What have I done? Do they think I'm so ugly?" you screamed while sitting down on your bathtub. "I hate you so fucking much Faire! What the fuck have I done to you!?" you cried a bit while not knowing what to do. Faire is telling things about you that aren't even right while you can't do anything against it.

You knew that you needed to talk to Copia.

In front of Copias office you gathered yourself again and knocked.  "Ah.. Clay.. good that you're here. We need you help. You seem smart." Copia pulled you into his office where Terzo was also standing. "Here.. we don't know what to do..." he gave you instructions for a cabinet. You started laughing when you saw what they did. "You have to hold it up the right way around." Terzo snatched it out of your hands and looked at it. "Copia! Did we seriously just sit there for 15 minutes not knowing what to do only to have Clay come in and tell us we were holding it upside down!?" "I'm sorry.." he said shyly. "You better be!"

You helped them finish the cabinet. Terzo wanted you to stay so nothing is going to happen like this again. "Thanks Clay. You know.. I really like you. You are friendly and so positive. You remind me of Mist." Terzo said to you as you remebered how important Mist was for Copia.

Hearing this felt so weird because you know that Terzo really meant it. "Thank you."

"Did you wanted something from me Clay? Sorry we interrupted you with the cabinet." Copia came to you as you remembered. The importance of the reason why you were there in the first place faded in seconds that you almost forgot it. "Oh it was nothing important. Looking forward to the tour. I'm very exited." "You'll manage that. I know that." he responded and after that you left the office.

Maybe you don't need the ghouls but just the Papas. They like you and take you seriously, human or ghoul. They even value you and are happy when you're with them. It felt like with them you can stand against the ghouls.

The sun was slowly about to set and you still had some tasks to do. You wanted to do them after dinner and now take the time to pack your things. So you quickly got up to your room and started packing. You have already made a packing list so it was not stressful at all. Two big suitcases where already standing at your door. You had to take a break because dinner was ready so you planned on doing it later that evening.

Right after dinner you went straight outside to the animals fulfilling your tasks. It was so calm inside the small barn. The sun was shining trough the window lightning the room with it's beautiful yellow light. Rain was also somewhere luring around by the rabbits. You fed the animals you take care of and brushed their place. You also cleaned and reorganized some shelfs. They always bothered you and it seems like they will never planed be organized when you weren't there.

Faster than you expected all your work was done when an idea came up in your head. You freed the horse Widow from it's box, brushed it of and put some bridles on. When both of you were outside, you took a chair to easily get on him. And so you set of for a ride in the forest.

It was an awesome atmosphere in the forest. The sun still made a beautiful light as everything looked so unreal. At some point you reached a small meadow where you took a break. Widow started to eat some grass while you leaned down on the horseback and looked in the sky. The sky was in a pretty pink almost red.

You closed your eyes listening to the sounds from the forest. Little birds singing around, a river nearby and the slight wind trough all the leaves. It was so calm that you almost fell asleep.

At some point you remembered all the things you still need to do before the tour will start tomorrow so you slowly rode back to the church.

In the church you put everything back where it belongs to when you get up to your room continuing to pack the rest.

The next morning was a bit stressful. A huge Tourbus stood in front if the church. Everyone just wanted to get their stuff inside it and quickly leave.

Upstairs was a long hallway with sleeping capsules. They were on both sides and 3 were always stacked on top. Like a typical tourbus. And at the very end of the hallway the ghouls occupied the capsules.

You were supposed to stay two capsules away from them because their suitcases needed the space. But you yourself would have stayed far away from them. At the end of the hall was Copia unpacking his things so you just joined him. "Don't you want to join the other ghouls?" asked Copia as he tried to lift his suitcase onto his capsule.

"Nah.. I wanna stay by you.. then it's may not that noisy." "That's nice of you. Then I won't be so alone. And yeah you're right. They can get really loud sometimes."
